Here's to the girls,
The girls who don’t wear 5 trillion pounds of make up
everyday; who only have a few close friends; who don’t get
that boy that they need. This is for the girls that fall for the
players, jocks, and worse, their best friend. This is for the
girls who are desperately in love with a guy that will never love
them back. Here’s for the girls who haven’t had their
first kiss, their first boyfriend, or first date. The girls who
have experienced heartbreak whether it’s because of an ex
best friend, or an ex boyfriend, which have loved and loved
unconditionally. Who wear sweatpants because they just stopped
caring. This is for you, the girls, that eat food when
they’re bored, who are comfortable in their own bodies, and
who can memorize trillions of song lyrics, but never school
related stuff. This is for the girls who best friends mean the
world to them, who aren’t backstabbers, who feel like there
is nothing left in the world but they fight it through anyway.
Who would rather have 6 best friends who they can tell anything
to than 100 best friends who don't accept you.
