It's long but definatly worth
reading, so today at school,
it was a cyber safety day and a man came in who had lost
his son from cyberbulling. His son was Allem Halkic.
He and his wife didn't suspect anything, he was a
happy,
loving and good looking boy. He was 17 and living a good
life. He had good friends that cared about him. One day,
he
started arguing with a "mate" of his over another
girl.
His "mate" of 2 months then started sending him
death
threats and made him feel worthless. The "mate"
kept
going, not realizing the consequences of his actions. On
February 5th Allem and his "mate" sorted all of
the problems
out, and Allam told his mate that he would ring back in 5
minutes. His "mate" waited for about 10 minutes and
soon
fell asleep. Allam needed someone to talk to, so he rung and
left a text saying that he needed to talk to someone.
Sadly
later that night, Allem was done with life, and a friend
drove
him to a petrol station near the Westgate Bridge. Allam
walked
to the bridge and jumped. He ended his life, he wanted every
thing to stop and just go away. Allem was 17 and he left this
world behind because of a bully who made him feel terrible.
Think about what you say, because you could be the
cause
of a death. R.I.P Allem Halkic, you will be in all our
hearts.
