Unforgotten Memory
Chapter 1:
"Emily?"
My mom said to me, waking me up I looked into her eyes, and I
could see she was depressed "What's wrong?" I
looked away and she whispered into my ear, "Greg hasnt been
here. He left last night, and I haven't heard from him
since."
I rolled my eyes and I looked at her in her eyes
"Mom, I told you from the start that he is no good"
She looked at me and I could tell she was mad. "HE MAKES ME
HAPPY!"
She walked out of my room and I got out of bed and stretched.
I heard the front door open, "WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU?"
My mom hollered,
He went into "his" bedroom and my mom followed him.
It was silence.
I could hear whispering, and she came out of the room about
fifteen minutes later, a whole different person. Giggling. I felt
disgusted, and he came out of the room and gave me a dirty
look.
"Clean up your room," he told me.
"You aren't my dad," I gave him an attitude and my
mom came in and yelled at me, "HE'S NOT TRYING TO BE
YOUR DAD, EMILY. HE'S JUST TELLING YOU TO CLEAN UP!"
I looked at her and said, "Well, I'm not going
to."
My mom left for work an hour later and I was depressed, I
can't believe she would do this to me.
My eyes got watery, and I looked down and I started smelling weed
and I got out of my room, "Do you smell that?" I asked
my sister.
"Yes," she said with a depressed voice
"Let's leave!" I screamed,
She got out of bed and we slammed the door.
We walked towards the park, and I had a couple of dollars in my
pocket and we relaxed.
"Emily, do you see how mom is changing?" My little
sister asked, while picking at the grass.
I sighed, and said "Y-yes, sadly I do"
She took a deep breath and replied,"Well we can't keep
taking this"
"I know"
I hate everything. I hate Greg, I hate this place, I hate my mom,
I hate EVERYTHING.
"Emily?" My sister looked at me, "Are you
alright?"
"Yes, sorry I was..... thinking"
I looked down and it got dark.
