Being a military girlfriend isn't easy.. There's those long sleepless nights where I wish I could lay with him, the tears that seem never ending, the waiting for a phon call you know may never come, but you keep your phone on all night and day just in case it rings, the longing for a kiss and a hug. It's when the little things in life start to mean the most. Like a simple letter you wait weeks for, or an " I love you". We never know when we will get to see our men again, or if they will be the same. Each goodbye gets a little bit harder because you know you will have to be without him again. It takes a strong woman to love a military man. And I'm proud to say I am one of them.
