fading away

Tears were flowing down my face i tried not to make any noise, i didnt know who the man in the house was but i knew he was bad and he had hurt my mom. "Elizabeth?" the voice called, i could hear him getting closer, i heard the closet door open, i stayed quite and completely still like i was told. In the distance i could hear sirens, "Sh*t! Oh well, I dont care about the kid anyways, shes not old enough to make a difference of find me" he ran out of the house.

The doorbell rang in the front of the house, i didnt know what to do, then pounding . "OPEN UP! THIS IS THE POLICE!" shortly after that door was broken too. I could hear footsetps throughout the house, someone came into the room i was in, they moved the clothes that i was under and found me. I started to tremble, tears poured down my face, it was a woman who found me. "Its okay come here youre gonna be alright, im with the Police, we're going to keep you safe okay?" I nodded, to show that i understood what
she was saying.
