Ramadan is a Muslim holiday, so therefore Muslims celebrate it.
Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday, therefore Jews celebrate it.
Bodhi day is a Buddhist holiday, therefore Buddhists celebrate it.
Christmas
is a Christian holiday, so why do athiests celebrate
it?
no offense
to any religion. i've just always found it funny how athiests
celebrate a holiday that they don't even believe in. i
mean, i've never seen a muslim celebrate hanukkah. have you?
again, no hate or anything. just
curious.

I'm an atheist and I celebrate it for food & presents. Also, my kids were raised Christian by their father, so we celebrate it in the Christian way for them.

No offence but this kind of annoyed me :/
I celebrate it because it's a time of year to spend with your family and it's a lot of fun. I don't really celebrate the religious aspect, but that's not all that matters (I know for some people it's a big part of it but I'm athiest so..)
And most of my family is Christian, which is the main reason I celebrate it... this quote kind of bugged me, dunno why:L
(Please don't take this offensively...)
