I live in Australia and I've never heard a single person say g'day mate I've also lived in England and I never heard anyone say ellis beautiful how are you my love? So not so true.

I say eh a lot, but that's not how we canadians say hello. We say "Hello." or "What's up?" or "Hey!" or "How's a going?" like normal people.
