~Chapter Five~
Hi Mom, hi
Daddy. I really miss you guys. It's been so long... Eight
years, don't I look grown up?
I made a new friend, her name is Harper. Isn't that pretty?
She's my only friend... I don't know
why no one likes me mommy, I try so hard to do my best in school,
and to make friends, but they
all run from me... And Daddy, Aunt Rita keeps hurting me,
it's getting harder and harder to wake
up in the morning and want to live.. I know you would disaprove
of me talking like this, but ever
since I lost you, I've been wanting to end it all more and
more everyday... But, Harper has been
such a help, do you think I'd be safer if I stayed with her
for a while? I think I'm going to try it, I
want to make you two proud. We promised that we would start
therapy together, so we could start
eating healthy again and maintaining our weight; the healthy way.

It was after school on the following Friday, and Harper and I
were standing outside
of the therapy office. I looked over at Harper and took a deep
breath, "So Harper,
are you ready to take the path to health again?"
"Yeah, Ainsley, I think so. But, before we go in, I just
wanna say that, I'm really glad I
have someone going through this with me. Even though we've
only known each
other for about a week, but you're already my best friend and
my inspiration...
You're like, the sister I've always wanted." Harper
said to me, smiling and going in for
a hug.
"Oh Harper, that means so, so much to me. I honestly
probably wouldn't be alive
right now if it weren't for you. So, let's go"
Walking into the waiting and registration room, I could already
smell that
nauseating odor of a typical doctor's office. I got extremely
light headed, way too
fast, and before I knew it, I had already collapsed to the
ground...
~I'm uber sorry that this chapter is so
short,!! I'm just extremely tired tonight, I promise, chapter
6 will be sosososo much better! love you
