Don't Forget Me.

“Do you want to call Julianna and see if she wants to come?” Carter asked as we started walking down the street to the beach. “No, it’s fine. She’s probably still sleeping anyway.” I said, knowing she’s probably furious with me. Finally, as we were walking down the street to the beach, the clouds started to cover the sun and the wind picked up a bit. Not that it was anything to worry about, but I did start to get a bad feeling. We set up our spot on the beach and sat in the invisible sun before heading towards the water. It was fairly calm today; not like the way it was when Julianna and I came. “The water is cold today,” I said shivering a little when I stepped into the water. “Oh, don’t be such a baby Quinn,” he said, smiling at me through the little ray of sun shining through the hole in the clouds. He walked toward me, with his arms out; obviously looking for a hug. I just smiled and laughed and went along with it, when he took me down into the water with him, the cold water knocking the breath right out of me. I shot back up gasping for air, laughing to cover up how cold I was. Then I turned around and splashed Carter for pulling me under. “Hey, don’t be like that!” He said, laughing when he splashed me back. Then suddenly, he moved closer and he leaned in for a kiss.
