Just A Kiss
Chapter 1, Part 1

Victoria's P.O.V.

"Will you sign my yearbook?" The words slowly came out of my mouth, my heart racing, my breath disappearing.

There were only 2 days left of school, my freshman year would be completed, finally. It took all of my courage just to ask him, Hunter. If you've ever spent a whole year crushing on the same guy, nervous every time you talk to him, always thinking about him, you'd be freaked to just ask him that simple question too, "will you sign my yearbook?"

My mind was spinning as I waited for an answer. What if he said no, but there were no what if's, he said, "I'd love too," staring me into the eyes, smiling.

"Hunter!" My bestfriend Sophie ran up to him, "sign my yearbook?" Sophie was much more confident than me. She wasn't nervous or scared about anything.

"Of course," Hunter replied quickly, scribbling the last words, closed my yearbook, and handed it to me, like it was trash, like I was trash.

I couldn't believe she would ever do something like that to me, she knew I loved him. I was angry, but he signed it, my mission was accomplished and I couldn't help but smile.

I walked around, asking more people to sign my yearbook. It was so hard not to peek in, to see what Hunter wrote, but that was for tonight.

Sophie's P.O.V.

"Thanks for signing my yearbook, Hunter," I smiled at him, ran my hand through my hair, and hugged him- in a friend way. "No problem," he replied. I walked away, opened my yearbook, and read ferociously.

"You're beautiful and I had a great year with you. I hope we can hangout over the summer, I like spending time with you."

I knew Victoria was in love with him, but so was I. I felt guilty, maybe I should tell her, we told each other everything. I brushed the guilt off and screamed inside my head. He thought I was pretty, he liked spending time with me, he wants to hangout with me. The excitement just wouldn't end. He was going to be mine.
