Yesterday,

I went to my best friend's mom's funeral service. It was possibly the worst thing I've been through. I went to support her. When she saw me she started crying and covered her face. Afterwards when I went up to talk to her she said my name and hugged me and started sobbing. I didn't know what to do so I just hugged her and cried and said it was ok. When she finally seemed to calm down she would see any other person and cry. It was really hard to see and hear her cries ring through out the church. I didn't know what to do and I still don't. I wanted to cry because we're all humans but I didn't because I wanted to be strong for her...You know?It was really hard because she was never really a serious person. she was a fun person. She made joke and loved, loved to laugh. It was so..different seeing her broken beyond repair...Now I still don't know what to say. What if I say something that reminds her of her mom who died of cancer. My friends bday was May 7, her mom died May 4. She didn't even get to see her daughter's bday..and with Mother's Day comming up and Graduation next year and summer...I dont know how she will cope with it...im sorry but i just had to get this out

I'm so sorry for you...I know what that feels like I was you a couple of years ago. It really is the worst thing in the world to have to see one of your best friends go through that. Be happy that she feels close enough to you to confide in you. Be there for her when she needs to let it all out, because she will. Time will make it better.

Don't say sorry! We're here for you! Even if I don't know how you feel, I'm here for you. :) Just keep laughing, smiling and be happy together. After all, it's most important to laugh and smile in serious situations. Just be there for her and let her know you're there for her, and if you can... i don't expect you to, really, but no need, just let her know that I'm here for her too. :0 If you have other problems, please tell me, I'm more than happy to help :')

tell her that you will always be there for her and that her mom would want her to be happy and remember her in happy ways. And that you will never know how it feels and you wont pretend to but you will be a shoulder for her to cry on.
