I love the books and the movie, and don't hate on people that love it. It's a good book series. I just hate the people that only like it because it's popular, and that only read the books because the movie was coming out. I read the books last year before I even knew the movie was coming out, but still...at least try it before you hate it.

OH MY GOD GUYS SHUT UP! i completely love the hunger games, i drove all around my town for a day looking for a mockingjay pin and then went to the premier and had only 2 hours of sleep before i took 2 tests. OK,? i get that you love them, but she has an opinion, and the right to share it. If you don't like the quote ignore it, and just so you know i went through they comments SHE DID READ THE BOOKS. Witty is a place to express your opinions, and she just wanted to know if she was the only one, and obviously she wasn't. just chill please, i'm sick of people attacking others for things like this, that's why i don't come on as much. (sorry this became a huge comment)

the books are amazing. I could really care less how popular it is becoming. Josh hutcherson is perfect for peeta, and jennifer lawrence is perfect for katniss. and it was an amazing movie. I dont really care who likes it and who doesnt. ive been a fan for a long time, so thats all that matters.

i reallly really love it and i read all the books literally years ago, before it was popular, and now everyone else loves it, but they're not even real fans who've loved it for years. they were just like "oh, the movies coming out...better read the book!" like, no. just no. and now im so frickin sick of hearing about becasue it used to be something special btwn me and my friends, and now its not and everyone thiks thei sssoooooooo cool cuz they read th hunger games. me and my friend saw the poster in teh thatre over a year ago that it was coming out adn we like, started screaming. now its just all up that people who are just stupid adn annoying are totally ruining it for me.


sorry, total huge annoying vent, i know. but i see where youre coming from about not giving a about it.

and i wanted to go see it on opening night, since ive been planning on it for over a year, but now, because a bunch of people who JUSTTTT read it got in instead of me. i literally saw people reading in line trying to finish teh book before thye went in. THEM ALL

I didn't give a crap about it either! But for a friends bday party we were gonna go to the movie. So I decided to read it so I would know what was going on. And it is honestly the best book I have EVER read!!!!! Its even better than the movie!!!!! So i think you should give a crap!!!:) jus sayin.......
