Chapter 23

Jenni's POV

Part Three

Justin let go of my mouth and I glared at him. He had his hand on my waist, pushing me towards the backyard. It turned dark, and i couldn't see anything. "Justin." I said in a worried voice. "You're fine, just stay here. I'll be right back." He breathed against my neck. Chills went up and down my spine as I heard his footsteps getting lighter and lighter. I stood there awkwardly for a few moments until something clicked. Suddenly, the entire backyard lit up with lights. Dim lights, and a patio surrounded by roses and other flowers surrounded me. It was the single most beautiful thing I ever seen. I looked down to see rose petals floating in puddles of water in bowls. Too much? Never.

I could quickly feel Justin's hands wrap around my waist again. His head resting against my shoulder. "What is this?" I giggled. "Happy Valentines Day." He whispered. Placing his warm lips on my neck. He started to walk, pushing me forward. He grabbed my hand, locking his fingers with mine. "I'm sorry i never returned you're calls. I was scared that I'd wind up fighting with you, or telling you what i've been doing. I wanted it as a surprise."

"I'm sorry for not trusting you. I just expected at least a text back on the worlds most important holiday." I winked. He smiled. He stopped and faced me. He cradled my face with his hands and pulled me to kiss him. After a few minutes, he stopped. "Oh yeah, I forgot something. He ran into the house and a few moments later, He came out with a long narrow box, and a big fat bag. "Open this one first." He said handing me the long narrow box. I lifted the top to see a long-stemed rose. I smiled. "It's beautiful."

"Just wait." He put down the bag and pulled out a dress. A short dress that was tight, low cut at the top, but puffy and princessy at the bottom. Sparkles covered the top, and it was lacy at the bottom. "I bought this when I was finished with everything. Though you wouldn't mind wearing it to the party." He winked. My jaw dropped. "Of course!" I squealed. I wrapped my arms around his neck kissing him over and over. "Wait, I never had the time too get you anything." I told him. He smirked. "As long as your by my side, alive, happy, and well.....Thats my present." He said. My eyes lighted up. "I love you, Justin." I whispered. He kissed me again. "I love you too."
