Her
name was laura
Just six years of age
She was beaten every night
And locked in a cage
Her mum didn't love her
Neither did her dad
But laura loved them
She always had
She didn't smile or laugh
She just laid there and cried
As she did every night
Until the day that she died
When her father came home
He went straight to her room
She wept as it carried on
Hoping it would end soon
Just then he threw her
Hard against the wall
Her father laughed
As he watched her fall
Her arm was broken
Blood streamed from her head
Tears ran down her face
But she still wasn't dead
She then got up
And ran to the door
She picked up her stuffed bear
That laid on the floor
But her mother stood in the doorway
In her right hand was a knife
That was when she ended
Her own daughters life
Her parents just laughed
As she clutched her toy bear
Her heart stopped beating
But she didn't care
They carried on laughing
At Laura sprawled on the floor
They had made her go through this
Since she was four
She was left there
Her parents didn't care
But she was in a better place now
Both her and her toy bear
