You Found Me
Chapter 7
Coming out of the hospital I could not remember much. John
carried me to the car just for fun but I was on laughing gas
so I could barely walk yet.
His fingers wraped around the handle and opened the door. He
slid me in then buckled me into my seat.
I watched him closely come around the car and slide into the
other side.
He put his arm around me and I giggled.
"So, if you could be a hippo or a monkey which would you
be?" As i finished my question I smiled a large grin and
started putting my hands all over my face.
"I see the laughing gas hasn't worn off yet."
He said with a wink. "But deffinatly a monkey."
"Me too."
He leaned down and kissed my nose then started driving off.
He turned the radio on and our favorite song came on. We
blasted the music and started singing extremely off
pitch.
He turned to me once we were at a red light.
"You know we should really try out for American Idol
sometime."
I tried to spit my words out without laughing too hard.
" Yes, I have to say we are amazing. Well, I am. I
don't know about that John kid."
He screamed "Liar!" and started ticklng me. i
begged him to stop but he refused until I said he was a
better singer. I refused. He went to tickle me again but the
light turned green.
"I'll get you later." He said with a wink.
We had awhile until we were back at my house so we just sat
back and relaxed.
I really liked John. No, not as a friend. Maybe something
more.
I layed my head back until a heard a faint
vibration.
I realized it was John's phone in the
cupholder.
"Can you get that for me Kelsey?"
"Sure, haha."
I grabbed his phone and unlocked the screen to find one new
text. I slide my finger over the screen and read the text
message.
One New Text
From: Spencer
I was alittle curious to who Spencer was.
I opened the text to read : "Are we still on for tonight
babe? xoxox"
I froze. Couldn't move even the phone out of my hands.
They stood right infront of my face with the words right
there.
"Who is it Kels?"
"O-oh umm just your mom. She asked where you
were."
"Tell her i'll be home in ten. We are almost at your
house."
I couldn't cry, not right now atleast. I would have to
wait.
We pulled into my driveway and as he leaned into kiss me i
threw the phone at him and ran.
As I got onto the porch I looked back in disgust. I saw him
read his phone. He looked up with a look of regret on
his face just as I ran in the door.
