About a week before my 9 year old cousins birthday she saw these kids in her class bullying this other kid. She decided to take action. She went up to the kids and stood between them and the boy. She told them that they should leave him alone and to stop bullying the kid. Once they had finally walked away she turned to the kid and invited him to her birthday party. A week later at her bowling party she had 4 guests, 2 boys, my sister, and the bullied kid. She took a chance on the kid and became friends with him. She gives me hope that bullying can finally end, that some people aren't afraid to take action against it and stand up for those kids who need help.
