Well maybe it's just a thing of luck, some people get noticed some do not :(

But it's not the more well known peoples fault that they are popular...

As for me, I would by no means say I am famous on here, I have a few top quotes but I still make quotes that get 10-15 faves, and I don't mind!

I don't have any friends to favourite my quotes, and I don't jock either!

alot of them were freinds with a bunch of people on witty from outside of the computer those freinds faved there quotes..... and if they got like 22 favs from just there freinds it went onto some of the last pages of top quotes... other people noticed them and faved them they didnt start out like other ppeople may have some might have but alot of them got there that way or by jocking the quotes...!

I personally do not judge or disrespect witty famous people. Im off at the fact that only these hand-full of people get top quotes. Okay, I get that you worked hard but there are a lot of people on here that works as hard as any of you do. For instance, now that people found out when you hover on "someone" ; you know who the user is.. it's back to witty famous people getting top quotes.. it's depressing, so many users deserve top quotes as much or maybe more that you "witty famous" users do.

First of all, I am by no means 'famous' on here, and secondly I write meaningful quotes and never do the whole "you are all beautiful" thing.

The fact that they get lots of top quotes wouldnt bother me if they weren't such hypocrites. im not grouping them all together, because ive talked to a lot of them and they are really nice and deserve faves! but a select few always say "i worked hard to become witty famous" and things like that. like, no. dont refer to yourself as famous then you get mad when people judge you.

Very true. But doesn't it kinda get annoying when they are the ONLY top quotes there are? I dont mean to be rude because I Loveee the quotes they have and all but some other people should get a chance too. Im not being rude 'cause I got a top quote. But people who make really good quotes but dont have good formats get 1-3 faves & people who take those quotes & use cool-good formats get top quotes. Js.(:

this is a good idea. that way ppl dont just fave quotes because they see who wrote it, they favorite it because they want to :) it's good to try this out for a weekend, and to not just get faves because you are well known and because you have the best format.

Very true mizztrisky, I mean didnt use witty for like half a year and when I returned the same people got the top quotes. I ve seen girl with really good quotes and then a top user jocks it and gets more faves, its just one day,

And I completely agree, this detox thing is such a good idea, I really do think it's great! But when people are really bitter towards the more well known people on here I just think... they worked hard to get to that position, and it must feel crappy to be constantly criticised
