I held my breath, and slowly let it out. "Raymond," I said in a quiet voice.
"Emma is that you?" Raymond raised an eyebrow at me. I smiled of course. I wanted him to know, eveyrthing's alright. I want him not to know everything is a mess. I just want to be okay again.
At least feel okay.
"Yeah yeah," I replied taking a step towards him.
My mom slowly backed the cart awyt from us. "I'll leave you two to talk," My mom said.
Me and Raymond both nodded.
After my mom slowly walked over oto the cashier, Raymond opened his mouth to speak.
"How are you?" raymond smiled, as I turned my head towards him.
I felt like it's been years since the last time I'd seen him.
"I'm fine. How about you?" I aksed with a smile.
He smiled, like he's about to laugh, but he didn't. "I'm doing great actually."
"Babe! Do we need carrots?" I heard someone say. It sounds like a girl's voice.
Raymond turned around, as a girl about my height came running, handing Raymond a bag of carrots.
"Yeah we need these," Raymond said, grabbing the bag of carrots.
I coughed, interupting them.
THey both looked at me. THe girl raised an eyebrow, as Raymond grab her hand.
And I swear, I flinched. I wasn't too sure, if they saw it though.
"Emma meet my girlfriend, Natalie," Raymond smiled pulling her clsoer to him.
I gasped, but not loudly.
"Girlfriend?"
Natalie kissed Raymond's cheek and turned to me. "Yup, for almost 3 months now," she grinned.
I opened my mouth to speak, but said nothing. Raymond nodded. "She's right."
I felt something, not too sure what. But I have to admit, I'm pretty jealous.
Not that she's pretty or anything, but oh c'mon, she's way beautiful than me. Not trying to say I'm beautiful. I guess, I'm just never good enough for anyone. She's more perfect, is all I have to say.
