It’s her birthday
today.
I didn’t get to celebrate it
with her.
Why?
She’s a thousand miles away
from here.
She’s the
best.
She never gets mad at me for
anything.
She’s always nice, calm and
she never raised her voice or her hand on me.
Even at times when I deserve
it.
She adopted a dog she found on the
street and raised it, she also took care of one more even when
it’s bad for her since she has asthma and she’s
allergic to fur and dust and stuff.
She also took in 3 children in her
home when the father of the kids left them and the mother was
an emotional wreck.
Life in the Philippines is hard and
her life wasn’t that good but she still
helped.
She doesn’t deserve
this.
She doesn’t deserve not seeing
her children (Me and my Sister).
She doesn’t deserve a hard
life, a lot of people don’t.
I’m here, in America, with my
dad (they got divorced since my dad was always drunk and they
fight, but my dad doesn’t drink that much anymore) living
fine.
And her? She’s working hard so
the 3 kids would have good education and
food.
She thrives but she’s always
so awesome.
She’d lend you money even when
she doesn’t have that much of her own.
My mama’s a strong
woman.
Imagine a life like that,
you’re not rich but you still help, you can’t see
your daughters, you’re suffering from asthma and your
life’s hard.
I’ve got a lot of respect for
her.
Happy Birthday Mama, keep on
fighting.
I ♥You.
