Sam's POV:

I was stunned at what Gia had done. "Gia, why did you do that? Carson is one of your best friends?". She looked at me and shrugged. "She deserved it. Listen I have to go makeup a test so I will talk to you later." Gia left before I could say goodbye. The new Gia was super confident and self-assured, but her attitude was an issue. I sighed and stared at my chicken sandwich.. I knew that Carson and Gia were to stubborn to apologize and talk to each other so I knew it was up to me. I got out my phone and quickly sent out a text to Carson.
Me: Hey Car, meet me at the mall this afternoon?
Carson: Yeah see you there.
I sent out an identical text to Gia . She also said yes. With step one of my plan complete, I threw out my garbage and walked to English.

I waited outside the mall for Gia. "Hey Gia." I said. "Hey can we make this quick? I have to meet Drew soon." I nodded. "Sure! Let's just go inside". Right when we got inside I got a text from Carson.
Carson: Hey where are you?
Me: Urban Outfitters. Meet me there.
Gia and I walked into Urban Outfitters. We were looking at tops when I saw Carson walking towards me. "Hey Sam. Wha..." Her smile faded when she saw .. "Look how cute these shoes are! Do you think Drew... Wait what is she doing here?" They both glared at me. I pretended to look completely confused. "I have no idea what's going on." "Oh please, save us the innocent act." Gia snapped. Carson started to leave. "Carson wait. You two need to work this out. You have always been best friends and have known each other practically since birth. You guys need to makeup. A stupid argument should not be tearing your friendship apart." They both looked at each other. I thought they were on the verge of a breakthrough when they started arguing again. They wouldn't listen to me I knew. Maybe I should just stay out of this argument and they could work it out between themselves. I figured that they weren't paying attention to me when I put a shirt into my bag. Carson stopped talking. "Sam what are you doing?" "What? I'm not doing anything." Gia's eyes widened. "Sam. Are you shoplifting?" I just stared at them as Gia took away my bag. "Whatever guys. If you knew what I was going through, you would understand."Wait what? Your life is perfect." Carson said. "If you think that, then you don't know me at all." I grabbed my bag from Gia and I walked out of the store.
