Chapter 1
The bell rang as I walked through the door. I opened my locker and dropped all of my books on the ground. Great. Another typical day of my life. Let me introduce myself. I'm Katrina Myers. Call me Kat though. I'm your typical 16 girl. I'm tall, I have blue eyes,long brown hair, and I love fashion. In the social ladder, I would say I'm in the middle. I'm not popular, yet I'm not a nerd. I'm somewhat in the middle. "Kat hurry up! We're going to be late!". My best friend Jessica hurried by me. She was the uptight and the goody two shoes of the group. She was short, had, blonde hair, and green eyes. "Chill Jess, we will be there soon enough.", said Alexa. She was the third amigo of our trio. Alexa was the wild child of the group. She was outrageous and always kept you guessing. She has light orange hair and brown eyes. She's pretty tall. I smiled as we walked past Brett, my boyfriend. "Hey Brett", waved Alex. He smiled and said "Hey guys.". Brett was 6'0 had chocolate brown eyes, and dark brown hair. I melted every time I saw him. He turned to me. "Kat we need to talk." I nodded. "Ok but can it wait? We are going to be late to Jensen's class and you know how crazy she can act." I looked at him expecting a smile, but all I saw was blank eyes and a sympathetic smile. "Wait what's wrong?", I asked concerned. "I will tell you later.". Brett mumbled. I frowned. "Ok see you later". I went in for a kiss but what my lips met felt like cold stone. He pulled away and walked down the hall without a single word.
