Chapter Twentyfive
>>Scarlett's POV.
I creeped out of my mother's room, tears still fresh in my
cheeks. Tyler wasn't up, which surprised me. I went to check
on him, and he was perfectly fine. I grabbed a pencil and a
paper, and wrote down a letter for him. I placed it on his chest,
got dressed and left. I left everything behind, and I wasn't
looking back.
>>Tyler's POV.
I woke up cold, and alone. "Scarlett?" I whispered. No
answer. I stood up, and a paper fell from the couch. I picked it
up and read it slowly, taking it in.
Tyler,
Hi there. Its me, Scarlett. My mother got shot about an hour ago.
She's dead. I don't want the same fortune for you, Tyler.
I only brought danger into your life. Please forgive me. I
decided to leave while you were still alive, than leave you dead.
I love you, so much. Please, forgive me.
Yours, Scarlett.
I fell to the floor, tears streaming down my face. I was alone.
Truly alone. Lost.
