Oh my gosh, its a JOKE. Its very much different when its your parents because if your like 35 and 42, its not a big deal.

I agree that age is just a number, but sometimes its taking it to far. Being like 18 and 13 its a little strange if you ask me....Oh and jail is just a room, right? Get over yourself.

giggles54xx - I completely agree! When you're over the age of consent then great go ahead and date someone 6 years older than you but until then I think it's just plain wrong. Gee people ever heard of statutory ?

my parentss are ten years apart, and they have a much better relationship than some of my friends parents who are the samme age... even thoughh i do get what you'ree saying, it's not right when you're onlyy a teenager.

@shootforthestarsxo...see thats exactly what i mean! age does matter to some extent if your 20 and 25 thats fine because its legal...now 13 to 18 thats a completely different story.

hey , what ever happened to 'age is just a number' ?! i know this girl who is 13 and dating a 17 year old . she has a perfectly good explanation as well ; all the boys her age are IMMATURE . and yes thats 90% true that most 13 year old boys are IMMATURE . k ? dont judge people before you get to know them because people can fall in love with whoever the they want .

age does matter.. if you guys are under 18. my parents are four years apart, but imagine if they dated in elemetnary school. 5th grader dating 1st grader? that's just wrong. when you're in college or you're over 20, it's a completely different story though.
