Chapter 16.
Jessica's POV.

Nate walked into my room with a look of concern on his face. I stood up and walked towards him. I hadn't seen him since the wedding. We only invited him because Tia wanted him to come. I crossed my arms over my chest.
"Hi." I said, guarding my expression.
"Hey, Jessington." He smiled. I remembered when he gave me that nickname. We had been fooling around one day and I called him Natington. He called me Jessington. It just stuck.
"How have you been?" I asked. It felt like we were distant friends. And that's what we were. It felt like we were meeting after years and years. And we were... 2 years later.
"I've been good." He awkwardly put his hands in his pockets and looked around the room.
"Well, we should g-"
"Listen, Jessica." He said, coming closer to me. "The truth is, I haven't been 'good.' I've nearly pulled my hair out missing you. I've always wanted to be your one and only. And the truth is, you being with Justin made my heart shatter. I always wanted to marry you. What do you think I was waiting for? Why do you think I stuck around you when you always cried to me? That's all I wanted. I was waiting until we were older. But Justin took my place. And it doesn't seem fair to me. He swoops you off your feet just because he's a super star or whatever."
"Nate, that's not how I want you to feel. Justin and I are happy together. Why can't you just let us be-"
He took my face in his hands and kissed me. My eyes were wide open. I couldn't process this whole thing. I tried pulling away, but he had my head. I tried to make a noise. It came out louder than I expected. I looked into Nate's eyes. His eyes pleaded for me to stay on his lips. It seemed as if he wanted me to stay there. But I couldn't. I heard footsteps.
"Jessica, more people are coming now." Justin said as he came up the stairs. "It's time-"
"What the hell is this!?" Justin charged into the room and pulled Nate off of me.
"Get out." Justin snapped at Nate.
"Just-" I started. Justin put his hand up to stop me.
"We'll talk later." He said and looked at me. He looked like he wanted me to stick up for him.
"Nate, I think you should go now." I said quietly. Nate looked at me in a sad way and slumped his head. He slowly walked out of the room out of sight.
"What was that!?" Justin asked, turning back to me. He looked mad.
"Justin, I didn't do it. I swear." He didn't look like he believed me. "He was just telling me how he was jealous." I started crying and shaking. "And I didn't know what to do. He held my face so I couldn't get out. Justin, Please believe me. I didn't do it. I would never do that." I was shaking more and my voice quivered with every word. "Please." I whispered. Justin pulled me in to hug me and kissed my hair.
"It's okay, baby. I believe you. Shhh. I believe you."
I looked up at him. His thumb swiped my face, gracefully wiping the tears off my face. I looked in the mirror. I looked the same, thank God there was no makeup running down my face.
"Now, boo. We have a party to get to."

*and i know that he knows im unfaithful and hit kills him inside to know that i am happy with some other guy... i can see him dying.

that is like...the perfect song for this chapter. sort of :p tehe. don't worry. this story will be over soon and you can stop being so bored. -.-

Honestly, I think it's good that she stops the story. Every story has an end, right? Especially with a story like this, where she describes how they meet, their relationship, the fights, the marriage, the babies.... I mean, she's running out of ideas, and I don't blame her. It's got to end sometime, or it'll get uninteresting. I know that some of her readers aren't bored, but if you think about it, SHE might be bored of writing this. And by stopping this story, it does not mean that she's done as a writer. Writers can write multiple stories, guys. :)

CALLED IT lol. and really, don't stop. if writing's what you love to do, then write. if you feel that all your stories are the same, spice it up a bit. write about a haunted house, or a pirate story. a murder, or a kidnapping not all of it has to have the theme of love. it can be friendship or family. or whatever you want it to be. keep writing lovely (:
