I'll Never Let You Go

Chapter 14.
Justin's POV.
 

"What do you mean?" I asked her.
"Where's my ring? It was right here." She pointed to a little well over the sink.
"I don't know. I didn't take it."
"I swear to God." She said under her breath. The host lady was just standing there with a worried look on her face. Jessica bent down to her knees to look on the floor. I looked down the sink drain.
"Is there any way you can look in here tonight?" I asked her.
"Yes, sure. We will call a plumber." The host said. We kept looking for an hour.
"I'm so sorry." The lady said.
"It's okay. It's not your fault." I said. Jessica looked heart broken. "Someone probably stole it. There's no way we're getting it back if that's the case."
We walked out of the kitchen.
"Justin, I'm so sorry." Jessica said.
"It's okay. It's not your fault."
"Yes it is! I left it there. I went to the bathroom not even thinking about it. It's all my fault. I'm so sorry." She started crying. We were in the parking lot. I wrapped my arms around her and ran my fingers through her hair. She tucked her head into my chest.
"It's okay! Don't worry. We'll find it. Why are you crying!?"
"I love my ring! It's mine! I want it back!"
"You'll get it back, I promise. We'll do everything we can. And if we don't get it back, we'll get a new one! It'll work out." Paparazzi gathered around us.
"WHY IS JESSICA CRYING?" They were shouting. None of your damn business, I thought to myself. I didn't answer any of them. We plowed right through them and into the car. Someone grabbed Jessica's shirt. She screamed because the girl had long nails. I saw red marks on Jessica's arm.
"Get your hands off her now." I stood protectively in front of her. "Now." The lady let go of her. We went right to the car. Jessica was still crying.
"Are you okay?" I asked her.
"Just go!!" She shouted. I stepped on the petal. Better move, paparazzi. Bieber's coming through.
We got out to the main road and drove to our house. When we got home, we went up to the bedroom. I went right to the computer and tweeted.
"so mad right now."
Right away, people tweeted asking me why. Well, I'll tell them.
"someone stole @jessicamason 's wedding ring. if you have it, you will be in HUGE trouble if you keep it. if you dont wanna be arrested, i suggest you give it back to the soup kitchen and put it where you found it."
"that ring is very valuable. it was my great grandmas. and yes, jessica WAS crying in the parking lot because of that idiot that took her ring."
"please, just give it back. there will be a cash reward if any of you find it. thank you. please help us."
I hit send and looked at my mentions. People were tweeting #HelpJustinFindHisRing . Soon enough, it became a top tweet. I looked at Jessica. She was sitting on the bed crying.
"Jess, what's wrong!?" I went to go sit with her. I wrapped my arms around her and held her close to me. She cried into my chest. I kissed her head.
"I feel like you won't love me because I lost your ring."
"Are you serious?"
"Yeah." She whimpered. I sat her up and studied her face.
"Look at me." I said. She kept her eyes down at the comforter on the bed. "Look at me." I lifted her chin up.
"Jessica, I could never stop loving you. You know that! I would never leave you just because of a ring. We will find it. I promise you. And if we don't, I will always love you. I promise you that. God put us together for a reason. It was our destiny to be together. Don't ever think that I will stop loving you. I could never."
I kissed her. She kissed back.
"I love you." She whispered.
"I love you too, boo."
