One Less Lonely Girl
Chapter 42
Jessica's POV

I looked down at my necklace. It was absolutely gorgeous. I stood up and hugged Justin. The whole restaurant was clapping and some were even crying. I was crying. Justin kissed me so hard and I knew we were in love.
After that, we sat back down. There was even a dance floor in this restaurant with a piano. Perfect, I thought. The waitress brought over our food and we ate. We laughed and talked and held hands and fed each other. Justin was right. This was the best night of my life. And it isn't over yet. This is the best Valentine's day I've ever had. It beat Mark's. Mark was my old boyfriend and I had a great time on Valentine's day with him. But this was BY FAR the best!
After we ate, Justin asked me something.
"Would you like to dance?"
"Yes, I would." I took his hand and my other hand held his present. But first, something had to be taken care of. When we got to the dance floor, there was someone playing the piano. I asked them if I could play my boyfriend something. They said yes, and I sat down. I started the song. Justin sat next to me and watched me play. I started singing.
A crowd gathered around the dance floor. Some people started dancing to the slow song I was playing. Some cried, some whispered, some danced. When the song was over, Justin looked teary eyed.
"What's the matter?" I asked him.
"I've never been this in love before. It's different." He said.
"I havent either." I whispered.
"You're the best thing that ever happened to me." He said and kissed me. Again, there was a round of applause. I smiled against his lips and ran my fingers through his hair. He smiled against my lips also. When we pulled away, I handed him the gift.
"Open it." I said. He started to take the tissue paper out of the bag on top of the box. He pulled out the box with "Things Remembered" printed on it. He looked up at me and smiled. I nodded, and he opened it. He loves dog-tags, he is always wearing one.
"Oh my gosh, I love it!" He said. "It's awesome!" He put it on right away, and again, there was an applause. Everyone was enjoying this so much. I was enjoying it way more.
"Your world is my world." He read. "J.B plus J.M = love. The picture we drew on the lyrics sheet." He remembered. He flipped over the second dog tag. "Forever and Always 2.7.2011"
"That's the date we met." I said.
"I remember." He said. Again, he kissed me. The microphone on the piano was still on, so the whole restaurant heard our conversation. We didn't care.
"Open the box." I said and pointed to the larger box. He took out the scrapbook and smiled at the front. "A Journey to Love" Was the title of the scrapbook, and the title of the song I wrote him.
"It's the title of the song." I said. He nodded and opened the scrap book. He flipped the pages one by one and smiled at each picture. When he was done, he looked up at me. I was crying. He took his thumb and wiped the tears off my face. Luckily, I wore heavy waterproof makeup, and it was still on, unharmed.
"You're the best I ever had." He said. He took my face in his hands and kissed me ever so passionately that I never wanted it to end. We pulled away and looked into each other's eyes. He pulled me to the dance floor and a slow song came on. We danced like there was no tomorrow.
