There for Me
Chapter 27
 

      I woke up in a strange room. It was blindingly bright in this room. The walls were white. The floor was white with black specks. The cover and sheets on the bed were white too.
      There was a tray with lots of medicines on it. The cups were pink. I was surrounded on all sides by beeping blinking machinery.
      I looked to my left. There was a young boy, about 17, sitting on a chair in the corner of the room. He had shaggy dirty-blonde hair, and the most amazing sky blue eyes. He was wearing baggy pants and a bright red shirt.
      The boy must have realized I was awake because he jumped up out of his chair. He ran over to me.
      "You're awake!" He said to me. I looked up at him. He leaned down to kiss me. I winced in pain. I was a bit scared. Who was this guy?
      "Where are I?" I still hadn't figured this out.
      "You're in the hospital, Sweetie."
      "How long have I been in here?"
      "About 3 days. I thought you'd never wake up."
      "Um... who are you?"
 

Jordan's P.O.V
 

      My heart shattered. How can she not know who I am?
      "Nurse!" I yelled for the nurse and she came running in.
      "Oh, Honey. Good you're awake. How are you feeling?"
      "Fine. I'm a little confused though." I grabbed Chelsie's hand.
      "What are you confused about?" I sat there with tears silently streaming down my face.
      "Everything."
      "Do you know your name?"
      "No."
      "Your name is Chelsie Anne Davidson. Your 17 years old. You live with your mom. You've been in a coma for 3 days." This was all my fault. If only I would have been faster.
      "Coma?"
      "You were attacked and suffered a serious concussion. So you don't remember anything at all?" Chelsie just shook my head. The nurse asked to talk to my in the hallway.
      "Why doesn't she remember anything?"
      "The concussion she suffered from has caused amnesia."
      "There is no way to tell. It could last a few days, maybe weeks, or even months, It could last... forever." I stood there in shock. My girlfriend may never remember me ever again.  She may not ever remember anything. All because of me."
      "Another thing, It could be the type of amnesia that she forgets whatever she learns, soon after she learns it."
