To everyone that hasn't read the other comments, I'm not worried about the Scoliosis, or the brace, or teh surgery. I'm worried about the MONEY. My insurance won't cover it all and we're afraid we can't afford.

i have it also. i have to wear a brace every night and its not that bad. sometimes the brace gives me brusises though. and its all covered under insurance for me

uhm, it's just scoliosis. i know like 5 people that have it. it's not even noticable usually. and it's not like you're gonna die.. you'll be fine i promise.

Scoliosis is not a big deal at all. I have it and all that happens is you have to go to the doctor once every few months and go to physical therapy or wear a brace at the worst. no need to vent

my friend has really bad scoliosis & all she has to do is wear a brace, and no she does not have to sit out of sports.

hhey,
i have scoliosis too. its not as bad as it sounds. but of course mine isnt that bad. you wont even notice it unless you gotta have a brace. i dont need one but my scoliosis is just like yours with the shoulders. so dont worry about it, its not bad at all honey.

scoliosis aint tht bad trust me!! u may have to sit out of sports for a little but other then that ur fine!!! my friend has it she does cheeerleading like celebrity cheer and she is still doin flips and all tht!!

If they sent you for x-rays, then you have it. But don't worry, I had it, and I grew out of it. Good luck!

Scoliosis is nothing to get worked up about, seriously. My brother has had two surgeries for it, and everything goes fine. If yours is mild enough that the doctor only saw a slight curve, then you'll be fine. Maybe a brace is the worst you'll get.

i have scoliosis! don worry unless its like more than 30 (i think) you might have to wear a brace or surgery. mine was fine but my bros friend had to get surgery! if its mild they'll prbly make you come back like five million times for xrays to see how its going because thats what mine did but luckily i didnt!
