i walked home, let myself in, then went up into my room. my phone
buzzed, but i ignored it. i got on my pjs, washed up, and hopped
into bed grabbing my ipod. i checked my phone. 3 new messages.
hey avery, its ok. from colin
ill talk to you tomorow. goodnight<3 also

hey its dann! this one from, of course,
dan.
i replied to dan just saying hey back then ignored colin. i was too
confused. it wasnt really helping that dan was a guy. i mean,
really, having a girl be there instead would have been much more
helpful. that way there was no possible way for me to fall for him.
not that i am. we're just friends. well, there would be a way, if i
was a lesbian, but thats not true, for me. ugh. well, i think i was
supposed to go dress shopping with avery, like, a long time ago.
ill call her tomorrow and go then.
i fell asleep thinking about everything.
i woke up the next morning, ready to go to school. i grabbed a
bagel, and started to walk. i met maggie half way. we continued to
walk and saw chris and derek. maggie ran over to derek and jumped
into his arms. they started to make out. how awkward for chris and
i.
"hey chris.." i said, as we walked behind maggie and
derek, who were holding hands and kissing every few seconds.
"hi avery. whats up?" he asked.
"well, nothing really. just watching my best friend make out
with a guy" i said, laughing.
he laughed too. we were quite for a little.
"what are you doing today?"
"well, i was gonna get maggie to go dress shopping with me,
because i was supposed to two days ago or something, but i havent
exactly gotten the chance to ask her yet." he laughed
again.
"oh, okay. are you still going with cj?"
"oh, uhm, no. but your going with kelsey still?"
"oh right. yeah, i am."
we got to the school and i went to my locker, grabbed my books, and
went to my first class. i was able to ask maggie to go dress
shopping, so we decided to go right after school, and derek said he
would drive us. nothing really exciting happened that day. thank
goodness.
school ended and maggie and i jumped into dereks car. maggie sat in
the front with derek and i sat in the back. chris saw us, and
jumped in just as derek was pulling away.
"where are we going?" he asked.
"dress shopping" i told him because maggie was too busy
kissing derek. chris looked around then said, "guess this is
happenening again?" i laughed.
"guess soo, kiddo"
we finally got to the mall. maggie and i ran off into stores
looking for a dress with derek and chris following. maggie found

she tried it on, then went over behind derek after i gave her my
approval. she asked him to turn around, and he did. i saw the look
on his face, and he was literally speechless. legit. his mouth was
wide open, it was like he wasnt breathing. maggie slowly turned
around, and when she was done, derek pilled her into a huge bear
huge and kissed her hard. it was adorable. she went and bought the
dress, and then we went to get food because chris and derek were
too hungry. we grabbed some ice cream and sat down.
"alright, maggie and derek? yeah, no more making out sessions
with me and avery right here!" chris said. we all laughed.
