chapter fifteen
That night Richie stopped by my house. He was holding something behind his back.
"Hey Richie, whats up?"
"Hey, Hallie, can I come inside?"
"Sure. Come on in." We went and sat in the living room. I was watchingFinding Nemo on the disney channel.
"Oh my god. I love this move. I'm calling my mom to tell her im gonna be late."
"Want a snack? I can get something from the kitchen."
"That'd be great." He said as he was taking his phone out. I grabbed two cans of rootbeer out of the fridge and a bag of popcorn.
"I will, bye mom." He finished up his conversation as I walked back in. I put the bag of popcorn betweeen us and tossed him a can of pop. For awhile we watched to movie in silence, aside from the movie and popcorn crunching no other sounds were heard. Suddenly we reached into the bag at the same time and instead of popcorn Richie grabbed my hand. And for the rest of the movie we stayed there. When the movie ended, I remembered there had to be a reason he came over.
"Hey, so why did you come over?"
"Oh wow, I almost totally forgot." He reached behind his back. "I was wondering if you wanted to wear my jersery to tomorrows game." Awww, that was so adorable, he came over to ask me that.
"Ofcourse, I'll wear your jersey." Not to long after that he left.
I was really excited so I went online and posted:
