Chapter 54
Taboo's P.O.V
"Fergie, how come you have nothing to cook in this huge house?!" I sarcastically asked, going through all of her cabinets and her fridge.
"I told you I had nothing! I probably ate it all without realizing it." she grunted, with a annoyed look on her face.
I smirked, "Do you want eggs?" She scrunched her nose, and shook her head. "Ick."
"A bagel?"
"Nah."
I went down a list of things I could make for her, but all of it was a no. She's worse than Jaymie when she was pregnant.
"Ugh, how about pancakes?!"
She paused for a moment, thinking.
"With chocolate chips?" I added.
She smiled, and finally nodded her head yes. Thank the Lord.
I make everything from scratch, so I got out the flour, the milk, the eggs, and the chocolate chips.
I poured the flour into a big mixing bowl, added 3/4 cup of milk, 2 eggs, and mixed it together.
Then I poured the chocolate chips into the batter, they sunk into the goopy mixture like a rock in the great sea.
I gave it one more good mix before pouring it onto the frying pan on the stove. I made four of them, let them cook, then made four more. Hmm, eight isn't going to be enough is it? Shoot.
I was out of ingrediants, so I had to think on my feet.
Oh duh, I could make bacon, toast. Side dishes.
I got to work on that, and by the time I was done, there was a knock on the door.
Fergie and Will weren't insight, so I wiped my hands off and answered the door. Standing ther, was a smiling Apl.
"I didn't expect to see you." he smirked.
I shrugged, "Ferg's got me on cooking duty. I just finished, perfect timing."
I smiled, "Awesome. I'm always up for food!"
I laughed.
"Yo Will! Ferg! Food's ready!" apl called, helping me set the table.
Yeah yeah, I know your laughing at me in your head. I'm sounding like a housewife, but honestly I'm used to it. This is a daily routine in my house, only Jalen helps me instead of Apl.
I heard Will come thumping down the stairs, and the slight pitter patter of Fergie's soft feet. Lound thunder and quiet lightning, a lion and a mouse.
"Easy! You're gonna go right through my staircase!" Ferg shouted.
Will turned his head and smiled, "It's food, I'm a guy, do the math."
She rolled her eyes.
We sat at Fergie's glass dining room table, her giant chandelier hanging above us. I still can't believe she paid a quater of a million dollars for it. I guess it's a girl thing.
"Do you like it?" I asked Ferg, who was taking a big bite out of her pancake.
she nodded her fast with a smile, I smiled back.
"You could be a chef Tab." Will joked.
"Ha, in what world?"
"Mine! Come to my house every hour! I'll pay you!" Will chirped with a grin.
"You're crazy" I laughed.
"It's my personality." he snapped back.
When i looked back at Ferg., her food was gone. Vanished.
She was wiping her mouth, dang!
"What did you do, inhail it?!" I asked.
She giggled, "I was hungry."
"I can tell.."
I heard Will chuckle, and he gave Fergie this funny look. like this half happy half lovey dovey look.
Awkward?
I think I'm gonna fastfoward a few months to pick up the paste... this story is taking up a zillion chapters! :p haha
