Chapter 10
"And this is my room!" parker said opening a door that reveiled stairs. i slowly walked up them. when i got to the top, i was shocked. i was expecting a messy room, full of boxes and packed stuff. but nope. it was clean, spotless, and un-packed. "nice," i said shoxing my hands in my bsack pocket. "thanks." he said hoping on his bed. i looked around some more. in the front of his room, he had a couch with a flat screen t.v and a lot of video games. it was a guys dream room. "want to watch a movie?" parker asked breaking the scilence. "sure!" i said hoping on his couch. "what movie?" i thought. "oh! do you have the last song?" i said with a big smile on my face. i was kidding but he pulled it out of his movie rack. i laughed and he put it in the player. after the movie, parker asked "so, what do you want to do now?" i shrugged my shoulders. " i dont know!" i said. "hm." he said thinking. "want to go get ice cream?" i asked excited. "sure." he said standing up. we walked down the sairs and he stopped at his sisters room. "me and samantha are going to get ice cream. we'll be back." he said. as he was about to close the door, a small voice asked "can i come? it.. it would be a good opportunity to get out of the house for a little.." he put his head down with a sigh. "i dont have enough room in my car tina!" i went inbetween him and the door. "then we can take my car!" her face lit up. well, a little. she looked sad and i thought it would be nice for her to have fun. parker sighed again. "alright. come on!" as we were driving, i played a bunch of happy, up beat songs so what ever was on her mind, she wouldnt think of. "um. i'll have a cookie dough blizard."the young girl said shyly. i really wanted to talk to her! but i dont know her like that! a few minutes later, parker got up to go to the bathroom. it seemed like the perfect shot to talk to this young girl. "hi." i said sweetly. she smiled and said "hi. im tina by the way!" i smiled. tina. now i dont have to call her "young girl." i took the straw out of my mouth. "so, tina, what happened?" she suddenly looked up. "um. a few day before we moved here, me and my boyfriend of 8 months broke up and um.. it was bad enough that i had to make new team mates." i was shocked. she has the same story as me! was it posible? "um.. im sorry, how old are you?" i just had to ask! "14." she said. wow! its like me. again. "and what sport was it you have to make new team mates for?" she laughed a little. "softball." oh my... only if she played hockey and lax. she would be a mini me. but still. "well um, are you going to try out for the high school team this year?" she nodded shoving ice cream down her throat. "well, you wont have to be a complete stranger. im captain of the varcity softball team." she slowly looked up at me. "i have been watching their games on the high school sprts channel! you guys are un-defeated!" she said. i laughed. "well, maybe after ice cream, do you want to go to the cages? you could show me what you got. and maybe, i could get you on our jv team. maybe even my team!" she looked so happy! "thanks samantha!" she said giving me a huge hug. "hey, call me sammy. lol." she smiled. i had total faith in her. if she were really a mini me... she would be a natural at this stuff!
