Chapter 36
"Well, since you are 17, I need to give you some previleges. And things you need to look forward for your future."
"Yes, I do."
"I was thinking about you and Jayden, your future with him."
"Yeah, I am thinking the same."
"Alex, do you think he is the one? The one to be for your life?"
"Yes, I do think so."
"Are you shure? I don't want you making any mistakes."
"Mom, mistakes are all about living. You learn from them."
"I know, but I don't want you repeating the mistake."
"Ok."
"Alright, about Jayden and you."
"Yes?"
"Well, you have 1 more year until you can get married. And I was thinking that if you want to now, you could move in with him, or he can move in our house."
"Mom, I didn't know you'd ask."
"Well, I know you can't live without each other, and I think you would like it."
"Yes, I would."
"When is he getting out of the hospital?"
"Soon. Like in a few days."
"That's great. Juss talk to him about it. Start thinking about your future, and how you are going to spend your life."
"I will, thanks."
"You are welcome. I juss want to let you know that he is an amazing young man. He is handsome and treats you very great. Someone I would appreciate being in our family."
My mom actaully like Jayden. She was happy for me.
"Awww. Thanks Mom. That means a lot."
"I hope it does."
"Can I juss tell you how much Jayden means to me?"
"Of course, I want to hear how you feel."
"Ok. Jayden, juss makes my day. If I see his face, I have to smile. He is adorable, and very loving. He doesn't drink/do drugs. He makes excellent grades in school. He is very talented, which I enjoy. He is so perfect for me. I can't live a day without him. I tried, but it doesn't work. I love him so much."
"Awww, honey! I'm so glad you found him. He is very great with you."
"I know. He means the world to me."
"Aww. Have you ever fought?"
"Um.. yes. We have lately. But I understand why. I understand him more than ever, now."
"Why were you fighting?"
"It was because of me. I was being bitchy, selfish, not caring, and lost."
"Aww, honey. You aren't any of those things."
"Yes I am! I was toward him. I didn't want him to choose his life, I wanted it to be what I want. And how I was gonna live it with him."
"Well, at least you have noticed, honey."
"Yeah. We need to order."
"Ok, what do you want?"
"I want a salad, and maybe some pizza."
"Alright, pizza?"
"Yes, pizza." We ordered and ate. We talked for a while. I felt a good connection between my mom and I. It felt like I knew her better.
We left, and got some icecream. I got a big sundae with all kinds of toppings! It was yummy.
We headed home, and I went to Mel's room. It was dark. I couldn't see them. I turned on a lamp and gasped.
They were sleeping together.
They were on the floor, and he was wrapped around her. The clock said it was 7:45.
The party was starting soon. I got lied on my bed, and texted Jayden.
Me: Hey, baby. Dinner was amazing.(:
Jayden: Baby, that's great! What did you do?
Me: I talked to my mom, and we ate.
Jayden: That's great.(:
Me: I have some amazing news. I need to talk to you about it.
Jayden: Alright, do you want to talk to me in person, call, or text?
Me: This might have to be in person.(:
Jayden: Alright. Are you coming down here?<3
Me: I don't think I'll have time. I want to talk to you about it, then stay with you for hours.
Jayden: Why can't you stay?
I forgot to tell him about the party!
Me: I invited some friends over, we are gonna hang out.
Jayden: Baby, I want to come. I want to protect you.
Me: It's going to be fine. There isn't going to be any drinking.
Jayden: I still want to be there, with you.
Me: But, you can't. You're not well.
Jayden: I'll talk to you later. love you.<3
Was he mad I was having a party?
Me: But, Jayden. No, still talk to me.
Jayden: Go have fun.
Me: I want you to come.
Jayden: I can't!
Me:Alright. What day are you coming home?
Jayden: In 2 days.
Me: That's not too long.
Jayden: Yeah, well I'm going to bed now. Have fun, talk to me tomorrow. Love you<3
Me: Ok, sleep well. Love you<3
I went in the kitchen to put out some chipsand drink. Hopefully this party went well. Oh my gosh! My mom was asking me this! Our future together.
