Do you like him? as more than a close friend? Because if you truly like him, then why should his physical appearance matter? You like him for him. It's not something... materialistic. It's real. And if you feel like there's a connection, there's no way that your friends should stop you from saying yes. Then again, who's to say that they will? I've just written a bunch of contradictions xD but these are the questions you need to consider. If the relationship doesn't work out (which might happen), are you prepared for the possible consequences? Your friends might stop acknowledging you, you might not have a lunch table to sit at. Both of which are quite extreme and cliched consequences, but you need to think ahead. Of course, if your friends are true friends, I am sure that they will support you. I guess the real question is: Would you choose what your heart is telling you to do? Or, would you "play it safe" and continue to hang out with your current friends w/o any insecurities? Either way, you might possibly regret your decision. My advice: In a couple of years, guess what won't matter? How many friends you had. How popular you were. How socially accepted you were. All of those things are superficial. Chances are, you won't even remember half of the people in that crowd. People grow up, they go to college, they move away. And all that will matter at the end of the day are the things that are real; the things that were real. Decisions, decisions. Whatever shall you do? ;) such a long-winded unsugarcoated speech/lecture, BUT I hope this helps you(:

some feedback: totally your choice (i dont know if you did this intentionally or not), but dialogue is supposed to be in a new paragraph every time someone new speaks. It might make more sense from a reader's perspective as to who is talking, but it's good either way!(:

I guess if you don't have to wear makeup, then you shouldn't (IMO). Because I went through a stage in my life when I wore makeup everyday, just to feel more confident, but it wastes so much time...finally I realized that I didn't need to wear it. If you want to wear because you want to wear it, thats fine! But if you are wearing makeup simply because your friends are, I'm not sure if that is the best reason. To be honest, makeup can really screw up your skin, if you don't remove it right or clean your makeup brushes, etc. Is it worth it to you? My older sister was born with a black birthmark on her nostrils, and it looks like a black bruise on the entire bottom 1/3 of her nose. So, she wears makeup because she feels better when that is being somewhat covered up, versus "Did you get pencil graphite on your nose?". This is really your personal decision, but from past experience, I will tell you that it was hard for me to stop wearing makeup and to feel OK after I had begun wearing it daily.
