It's not dumb. Having a day set aside just reminds us of it and that we cant forget. It's like Women's History Month reminds us of the wonderful things women have done for society. reply

Exactly. I mean, people are already aware of suicide. What does wearing a certain color doing? Nothing. If you want to do anything, get off your and help a cause. It's seriously so stupid. reply

I know what you mean, but if we all wear yellow and wrte love on our wrists, maybe suicidal people will see that not only do some people care, but most everyone wants suicide to stop. Believe me, I have been suicidal before, and known a guy, my best friend, who was, but when someone, ONE person, told me he cared, I knew that if one person cares, more must, even if I don't know them, so with doing those two SMALL little things, you can save a life, it took one sentence to save my life and my friends too, all we had to say was "Please don't leave." and after that, I know one person cared, so honestly I'm sure seeing all these people who care, many lives have been saved today. reply
