thanks. my boyfriend leaves tomorrow for a week trip. now this may not seem like a big deal, but it is. he's gonna be with his friends like all day each day, and we normally talk like 24/7 each day so its gonna be like a hard adjustment. and like today, the last day we were able to text, he's been extremely busy. i got about 3 texts since like 12. it's hard. :/

I know you may not want to hear this, but maybe it's good that he's is going away for a short amount of time. When he leaves you two will realize how much you really care for eachother and need eachother, so when he gets back you can reconnect :) The time spent apart will just make you guys crave eachother more so when he's back it will be perfect for you two because you won't ever want to part from eachother again :)

Hi VENT. ADVICE NEEDED!!
Well I'm in a engineering class, I'm the only girl. And we are doing stuff where we have to be in groups and I was put in a group of 3 because it was an odd number. So one of the guys in my group started to talk to me which he hasn't done since early last year. And its prob because were in a group together. But to me it seemed like he was showing off by tossing things and catching them. Then he was like now I'm gonna go home and do this with knifes. And I laughed. It seemed like he just wanted to stand close to me. Then we argued about an answer (funny/teasing) and I was starting to think maybe this guy is starting to get feelings for me. So I started to like him for the 2nd time. Then yesterday I was talking about this to some of my friends but saying I wish I didn't because I know nothing will happen and they were telling me no you guys would look cute together. And that it might happen. But to me it just seems like another crush that will never happen. And that ill get hurt again. And become more depressed. And sad. And want to harm myself. Today, he talked to me this morning out of all the other guys about some homework when i was by one of my good friends who after he walked away started to smile at me. but thats it. we havent gotten into our groups for a while. i feel like me liking him is useless. he will never like me. which is my life. no guy ever likes me and i hate it. feeling not cared for. no one cares about me. i every guy ive ever liked has never liked me. but something about him just makes me hope that someday maybe he will like me

Talk to him!! Ask him for his number! When you get his number just get to know him some more, and after a couple weeks of getting to know him, if he hasn't asked you out, ask him if he would like to hang out sometime! But don't actually say "would you like to hang out?" Find something you can do, for example if your school has a bonfire or something, say "would you like to go to the bonfire with me" so you'll automatically have something in plans :)

Reasons to stay alive.
1. People care. Just because they don’t show it, doesn’t mean they don’t care. Your family, your friends, who you think don’t care, they do.
2. Life is precious, some people aren’t even born, don’t waste it.
3. If you end your life, you’ll never get a chance to let go of the worries and do something to make it better.
4. Every obstacle makes you stronger.
5. If you commit suicide, then you won’t be able to help others that want to. You could help people in the same position as you, you could save someone’s life.
6. You were made for a purpose, stay alive to fufill that purpose.
7. The small things are beautiful, learn to respect and see them, they’ll amaze you, and sometimes inspire you.
8. All the singers and bands that made music about giving up- they were just like you, and they became famous and who they are now. That could be you one day.
9. You’ll never know what happens in the future.
10. Who knows, maybe your crush or ex will ask you out the day after you’ve committed suicide.
11. You may be insecure, but you’ll eventually realise, in time, just how beautiful you are.
12. I love you. Gay, bi, straight, black, white, I don’t care. I love you.
13. If you’re getting bullied, then they’re just jealous of how you look and who you are, before they took it away. They enjoy seeing you in so much pain, maybe because they were like that once and they think other’s deserve to feel that pain, or they are jealous. They just want a reaction, just ignore them, or if it is physical, or highly discrimintave then tell a teacher, or someone you trust.
14. You could learn so much from life, but you’ll learn nothing if you give up now.
15. Think about all the memories you had, you’ll never get any good memories again if you give up now.
16. Committing suicide is giving every single thing up, small and big. Your family, your friends, your memories, (maybe) your boyfriend/girlfriend, new experiences, laughs, smiles, and so much more.
17. There is so much more to life than it seems, you just need to look, and you’ll find the best things ever in life.
There are plenty more, but these are a few for now. Please, don’t kill yourself tonight.
