See this is exactly why I don't affiliate with a religion officially. Because of comments like that!

There is no true anything! I can affiliate as being Christian if I want to, because that's my choice. I don't think I can connect to god through a book, if you can, then that's great; but I can't. I just can't.

My beliefs are that if you're a good person, God will love you. Because God loves everyone. It doesn't matter if one is black, white, gay, straight, etc. All that matters is that you're a person with good morals and you show love to everyone. Those aren't your beliefs? Cool, I never said they were. And I'm not going to try and convince you that I am right. Because neither of us is right. Because there is no right or wrong answer. I don't have to follow a bunch of rules to call myself a Christian. If you want to go about your religion that way, then fine. But, don't go and try to tell me what I am, or what I am not, because I stray away from your ideals.

You say that as if it's a bad thing.

But, actually, no, I'm not. My father identifies as Christian, and officially that is my religion. I'm more spiritual than anything. I do believe there is a form of a god, and if I had to define said God, it would be the Christian God, yes. I just believe in the regulations, if you will, that one needs to follow to get into heaven. I think if one is a good person, than that person can get into heaven. Even if that person is an atheist. Because believing in God, or whatever else people choose to believe in, does not correlate with them being a good person.

Lastly, I also believe in evolution. If that wasn't obvious enough. People are allowed to believe in both.
