no one is going to learn if they dont want to, and connecting with students opens their eyes and makes them want to learn. Teaching dosen't pay well at all, another reason why teachers are pretty damn devoted. completely agree w yaa.

literally, my art teacher everyone calls her Mimi, my ex and i were having troubles, and she was like "stop giving him pusssy and watch, things will change fast" or something like that. she's hilarious but shes so wise. i love teachers like that, like their job is to teach you, but when they befriend you and give you advice its a whole nother story.

I agree, a teacher needs to connect with their kids on a higher level than just, being their teacher. Kids learn better when they're having fun and they have time to joke around and really get to know the teacher. If a teacher just lectures and gives notes, the kids aren't going to learn as well or fast. I would be a teacher if it was a higher paying job.

My art teachers are lazy f/cks, my history teacher was my favorite, he said things he knew would get him in trouble, but he did it because he wants us to know the truth.
