Let me tell you a story about a girl I know.
She walks down the halls and most of the time, all she feels is lonliness.
She always feels like the third wheel in a group.
She is the kind of girl that has an opinion on EVERYTHING, but wont say exactly what she's thinking, because she's too afraid of being cut down.
She's a confidant girl, always full of laughter with a big smile on her face.
But sometimes, she notices that people are too busy to see that the smile is fake.
She's an independent girl, but only few do know,
Whats real and going on below.
She has only one secret, nothing too important to hide.
Praying every day that the only friends she has, wont leave.
She's talented, and she feels like the only way she gets her message out to the world is when shes on a stage.
Sometimes, all she wants to do is cry.
But she knows that she's strong enough to make it through.
I know this girl very well, like some people do.
But I can be sure that nobody knows her story quite as well as me.
Lonliness hurts the ones you would least expect. Take a look around. Just a smile could make someone's day.
