Why Crushes Can Be Better Than Boyfriends
    1. Crushes basically require you to geek out with your friends.
Once you’re actually dating someone, you can’t keep calling him the Sixth-Period Lord of Hotness, because that’s just bragging. You also can’t giggle for nine hours while having practice crush conversations with your friends (please tell me I'm not the only one who did that), because relationships require talking for real.
    2. Your free time is yours, all yours!
The right kind of boyfriend both needs and wants the two of you to have separate interests and lives. But he'll probably still want to know what you're doing, and you probably don't want to explain out loud that no, you can't go out Friday night, because you're too busy making all your T-shirts into ninja masks.
    3. It’s never as good as you think it’s gonna be.
In general this is a terrible reason to not do something, but it’s a little bit different when it comes to crushes. Sometimes it’s more fun to imagine magical pony rides through the Carribean with a crush than it is to make stilted conversation with them under the cold, hard light of your local Denny's.
    4. You can focus on your friendships.
We’ve all had that friend who pulls a disappearing act the minute she starts dating someone, only to reappear months later, newly broken up and expecting full-on friend therapy. Though friend breakups definitely occur, and high-school sweethearts do occasionally get married, your friends are still likely to stick around a lot longer than the person you just started calling Sugarpants. (You should stop doing that btw.)
    5. If you’re in a relationship, you no longer get to crush on eeeeveryone.
Have a little respect. Getting a real boyfriend means retiring your “Mrs. Niall Horan” T-shirt (for a little while), putting your shirtless Justin Bieber gif from Tumblr on temporary hold, and no longer cultivating the five to ten mini-crushes you’ve got going for a rainy day.

    ZERO=NOTHING
    My motto.
You might wonder why I'm writing this on my arm, papers, white board, mirror and anything I might look at. Well, I created this to remind myself everyday that beautiful doesn't mean being a size zero. Zero, zip, nadda, goose eggs, NOTHING, this is a common known thing. So may I ask, who wants to be a size nothing? I have my down days where I sit there and stare at my stomach, hips and thighs, asking God why he wanted to make me fat. And I thank him that it hasn't brought me to the point of self harm or anything like that. But other days like today, I realize that's exactly it. God made me this way because THIS IS ME. I was made to be nothing but myself, and I can work out, try my best, but as long as I'm healthy, I'm perfectly fine, and healthy is mental too. So all you girls like me, who obsess over their body and think their ugly, your not. You are absolutely beautiful. So please write this everywhere, spread the word. Lets fight against those insecurities. Don't let them eat you alive. Zero is nothing, but you are everything.

    Demi Lovato is my inspiration.

Today was my school talent show.
Me, being myself - decided to sing "Skyscraper" by Demi Lovato. I did my thing, I sang. And, at the end - people were in tears and I got a standing ovation. I have never felt so good about myself. The dean went to take the microphone away, but I asked if I could say something to my peers. He allowed me. That's when my heart poured out.. "Thank you all, really. Now, I have something to say." After that, it became dead silent. "You're clapping for me now, right? Weren't half of you guys the people who said I was 'fat' yesterday? Yeah. Little do you know, I can't keep my food down because of those things you say. I can go days without eating. I hope you know that." Then, I had to stop because some girls were laughing. I walked up to them and pulled up my bracelets. "Hey, Bri. Look. Look at what YOU caused. Yes, YOU. You practically put these scars on my wrist. Because of people like you, people turn into people like me. Can I just ask why? Why do you do this to me and so many others?" Her answer was this; "Well, Nicole. I do it because people are losers, a lot like you." And at that, I had enough. What did I say? I said, "Bri, I'm done. I'm done with you. So is everyone else. YOU NEED TO STOP. I'm sick of you. If you don't stop soon, something WILL happen. It may happen to me. Or to you. Or to that girl over there. Just, STOP. Ok? Go on and try to tear me down, I will be rising from the ground. Like a skyscraper." I turned around and walked away. I wasn't finished though. I turned back around to face my peers and said, "I thought suicide was the answer. But, I KNOW it's not. Don't try it, guys. You hurt yourself, you hurt your family. And it hurts your friends. Please. Talk to me if you need anything." People clapped so loud, my ears were about to bust. But, WAIT. I'm not done yet... This really popular guy, Mike, came up to the front. He took the microphone and said, "Nicole.. Thank you for giving me the courage to do this." No one knew what was coming, but what he said shocked so many people. "Bri, we're through." I have never laughed harder in my life. Best day ever? I think YES.

    Hear them haters talk
    but theres nothin' you can
    tell 'em. ♥
    We're smiling, but were
    close to tears. ♥
    We're like fire & rain,
you can drive me insane. ♥
Who says your not perfect. ♥
    If i had you,
    that would be the
only thing i ever need. ♥
    Maybe it's not my weekend,
but it's gonna be my year. ♥
    We just wanna make the
    world dance, forget about
    the price tag. ♥
Of all the things i still
    remember, summers never
    looked the same. ♥
    I'm lucky i'm in love
    with my best friend. ♥
    Here we go again,
    I kinda wanna be
    more than friends. ♥
    You make me happy,
    weather you know
    it or not. ♥
Love me, or love me not. ♥

Wake me up when September ends
Green Day lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong wrote this about his father, who died of cancer on September 1st, 1982. At his father's funeral, Billie cried, ran home and locked himself in his room. When his mother got home and knocked on the door to Billie's room, Billie simply said,
"Wake me up when September ends,"
    hence the title.

    Whatever happened to Chivalry?
Does it only exist in 80's movies?
I want John Cusack holding a boombox outside my window.
I wanna ride off on a lawn mower with Patrick Dempsey.
I want Jake from Sixteen Candles waiting outside the church for me.
I want Judd Nelson thrusting his fist into the air because he knows he got me.
Just once I'd like my life to be like an 80's movie.
Preferably one with a really awesome musical number for no apparent reason..
But no, no. John Hughes did not direct my life.

I don't think that most of you know what "hate" is.
So come here kiddos & auntie Sophie will explain this to you.
You want to know something that isn't hate?
Saying you don't like a band.
Yes, saying somethin like "Ugh they suck and need to go die and don't deserve to be famous and are so ugly and their voices sound like dying rhinos." is hate.
But not saying you don't like a band.
Saying a band is not wonderful is not hate.
Saying you don't like something is not hate.
    We all dislike people.
    We all dislike things.
    I don't like Nicki Minaj!
    Was that hate? NO.
I just don't like the music she make and I am not fond of the lyrics in her songs.
I have a dear friend that said "Plot Twist: One Direction is a wonderful band."
And people told her to stop hating.
But the thing is, she wasn't hating.
That's her opinion on the band. I share the same opinion.
So basically, saying an opinion (or anything really) that hurts no one is not hate.
But saying something that does hurt people, well, it may not be hate but sometimes it will be.
