“Try to imagine a life without timekeeping.
You probably can’t. You know the month, the year, the day of the week. There is a clock on your wall or the dashboard of your car. You have a schedule, a calendar, a time for dinner or a movie.
Yet all around you, timekeeping is ignored. Birds are not late. A dog does not check its watch. Deer do not fret over passing birthdays.
    Man alone measures time.
    Man alone chimes the hour.
And, because of this, man alone suffers a paralyzing fear that no other creature endures.
A fear of time running out.”
    — Mitch Albom, The Time Keeper

omg im so done with this website.
people spout off opinions thinking they're so smart when they really haven't got a clue what they're saying and then they don't want to deal with the consequences of posting your thoughts on the internet (ill admit im guilty of this too)
so many of you are so, so immature its not even funny theres a reason this website has an age limit.
and NOW?! now you guys are complaining about steve hiding depression/suicide/self harm quotes when that is one of the best things he could have done for this website.
this isnt your diary. if you're actually suffering from those problems you need to be getting REAL help, not looking for attention on the internet. that was never the point of this website and people abusing this website for things like that are ruining it.
don't tell me this is the only way you can get help.
people were able to get help for these problems before the internet existed, so why can't you now?
and, if you're really THAT against getting help in the real world you are so much better off on tumblr where there are countless blogs dedicated to helping with these exact issues.
stop complaining on a quote website. you have no reason to be upset over these quotes being blocked.
im so done. my computer is broken anyway so i cant make quotes and respond to comments easily but this is just the cherry on top i may take a break for a bit.

I honestly cannot stand it when people say "everyone is beautiful".
    No.
    Stop.
    Don't do that.
Not everyone is physically beautiful, okay? If you really go around saying that, you're aiding this societal idea that a person is only worth something if they are aesthetically pleasing.
    Guess what?
People who aren't physically attractive are wonderful, spectacular people in so many different ways aside from that. Those are the things we should be paying attention to and complimenting everyone on because it means so much more because it's genuine. Because they know you actually mean it and that you are looking at them past their outward appearance. If you all actually believed that it's what's on the inside that counts, you wouldn't be going around saying everybody is beautiful.

I honestly don't care who says what to me, because I have to put something out here. If abortion is wrong just because you are taking away a "baby's" chance at life, then so is birth control/condoms, getting your tubes tied, or giving/receiving oral. These all will reduce the female's chances of being fertilized or make them diminish entirely. If abortion is wrong because it is murder, then getting rid of skin cells is murder. You can make a child from skin cells, and those die everyday. That is exactly what happens with an abortion: you are just getting rid of a bundle of cells. I won't continue on with random facts or equality rants any longer. This will suffice.

There are so many people on this site with online depression test results on their profiles and it makes me feel very {ugh?!???!??}. Please, please, you guys, I BEG of you people, DO NOT take the online depression tests. It gives you WRONG results. Do not believe all that bullsh-t. There is NOTHING wrong with you. Believing it will only make you feel worse. If you want to know if you're depressed or having any disorder, get a proper diagnosis, from a REAL doctor! Not some pathetic quiz on the internet. Seriously. Nothing it says are true. You are not having an extreme disorder. Please. Stop. Feeding. Yourself. Lies.
