   I logged on tonight hoping to see some posts about what is going on in Texas, hoping for some feminist fervor.
   Senator Wendy Davis stood for 13 HOURS to filibuster the abortion bill that was about to be passed.
   The vote was to pass the bill.
   However, it was taken illegally after midnight and has been THROWN OUT.

   hey girls I need some advice...

    my friend Autumn died last night of a brain anuerism. she was a close friend of mine in 8th and 9th grade but we grew apart a bit this year. I used to walk by her every day on my way to 4th period, and she's not there anymore. she was the sweetest girl I've ever met and she always encouraged everyone to chose their own path, to be themselves.
    she has left a mark on this community, this school, and many lives. she will not be forgotten.

    so I saw a quote earlier saying how many people die all over the world in tragic events and no one notices but everyone freaks out over what happened today.
    Here's what I have to say.
    My choir teacher's fiancé is from Israel. the other day when a man got pushed onto the subway in New York and everyone freaked out about it, he said this:
    everyone in America is so sheltered. in Israel, people get killed everyday and it becomes a part of your life and you deal with it. yeah it's sad but it happens and there's really nothing you can do about it.
    don't get me wrong, I'm praying for each of those families and I think what happened was horrible and inhumane. but really what can anyone do? some people are screwed up and end up hurting people but this happens all over the world and no one ever seems to care.

    so my little brother sent me this after our loss last night:
    Even though you lost I am still proud of you. You did absolutely fantastic. Remember the first loss is always the toughest. Next game you are going to win. I no it. Well I don't but thats what my horse Tyrone says. Next game I want to see you stuff someone and break their face, but don't break it to bad because they are probably ugly and you don't want to make them even more ugly because then their parents will abandon them and we don't want that to happen. Remember I want blood not snot, not tears I want blood and a broken face and I know you want that too. Also what's wrong with coach Webb. He makes the dumbest decisions on who goes in with who. And can I have his email because you're not starting and that is not okay. You guys would have won if I was a little bit more enthusiastic. It was really weird I was sitting there quietly and mom was yelling. Don't worry I will make up for it next game by being extra loud. I will be so loud that you can't even hear yourself think and I will be decked out in orange and black and I will have a sign just for you.

    just a vent...
    today:
    -got called bulimic then laughed at
    -was yelled at by my teammates...a lot
    -was half-tripped during the game, hurt my knee, was passed the ball twice and yelled at for never doing anything
    -realized I was replaced by my friend's boyfriend
    -was basically ignored by said "friend"

    so I've decided to wait until after Christmas to kill myself. January 3rd, that's my new date. I decided to wait because I'm actually sort of excited about something right now- my brother and I are making a recording of us singing Baby It's Cold Outside for our mom for Christmas (it's her fav holiday song) and I want to see her reaction. so yah.
