three years ago, this coach told me everyday how worthless i was. how i would never be good enough. that my dreams are stupid.
it was three years ago when i quit. i haven't seen her in a long time. but i still hear her voice in my head, telling me i suck, i'm not important. nobody gets that that's why i'm so hard on myself. maybe if they could hear her too, they would understand...

hey wittians! I really need some help from you guys...there is a girl in my choir whose mom recently died in a horrific car accident and she is now raising her 8 year old sister. her and her mom were really close and they loved Lady Gaga and were going to go to her concert in Tacoma in January. well she would love for Marry the Night to be dedicated to her mom, but my choir thinks it would be even better if she could meet the Lady. we've been emailing and calling radio stations and such trying to get this to happen and we would all looove some help getting the word out there! Aleasha (the girl) so deserves this she is so sweet and has had it really rough. PLEASE email tyler@kissfmseattle.com who we are focusing on getting help from, tweet Lady G, facebook it, anything helps! again, we're in Washington and her name is Aleasha.

i realized today how much i had missed the little things about basketball:
taping jammed fingers
pre-wrap headaches
those scented ball things for shoes
pointing "pistols" on defense
blocking shots
swishes
freethrows
fighting for rebounds
long passes
learning plays
making the winning shot
battling for position
beginning of game tip
things i didn't miss:
ankle brace rashes
braces in general
getting elbowed in the face
having off days
trying to hide scars
being wide open and not getting the pass
missed layups
back pain
knee pain
icy hot

drama
being disliked by most of my teammates
being the slowest girl out there
running for missed freethrows

walked into practice late with my friend/teammate.
everyone cheered for her and hugged her.
i didn't even get a "hi" and frankly i've been on the team longest.

So I need to make this very vague in order to protect the people it's about, but...
my friend's dad is leaving tomorrow morning to a war zone and he will be gone for up to 6 months. My family and his family are pretty close. We gave prayer shawls and prayed with them yesterday and seeing the dad sobbing just killed me inside.

I get it now, why I've done some certain things. I'm still a virgin, but I done dirty things over text and I hate it and I finally understand why I did it. there's this song that pretty much is about me and it says "her daddy wasn't there so she found men to hug and kiss." my dad and I don't have a bad relationship, it's basically nonexistant. I told the guy who I did the things with this today and he said "yeah, most girls that do that have daddy problems." like I never put it together until today.
PS judge me all you want. i don't do it anymore i still hate myself for ever doing it.

tonight was the best night I've had in a long time.
I did hair and makeup at my friends house, took ridiculous pics, and went to the dance with my bestfriend as my date. after he gave me his jacket because I was cold and our group got slurpees.
it was a good night.
