   Chapter 2.
   After School, I dedcided to walk back home. If I went on the bus, there'd be nobody to talk to. I frowned and let out a sigh. The whole day had been longer than expected, and now all I want to do is take a nap. And chill out for a bit. When I approached the door, I saw Alexa walking back home with Abby. Glancing at me, she smiled and started heading toward me. I threw her a frown, and walked inside my house. I locked the door, and ran upstairs. I wanted to cry because the whole day didn't go anything as planned. I unlaced my Jeffery Campbell Heels, then I replaced my jeans with some Hollister shorts. I took off my jacket and all my jewelry. It felt good to be free of all the jackets,jewelry, and the shoes that apparently gave me blisters. Ouch. I flopped onto my bed, staring at my ceiling. Since Alexa is probably busy, I'll go to the beach. But with who. Then I think of Taryn. I reach into my bag, and pull out my phone. Scroling through contacts, I see that she had already texted me. I open up the message and this is what it says.
   Hey! Lets meet up at the beach and grab some Blend Fro-Yo! You in?
   The message was sent about 5 minutes ago, so I think it's safe to jump on in. I'm about to send the text, I hear a knock on the door. I walk down stairs and slowly open the door. "Yes?" I say, seeing Alexa standing in the doorway. Her eyes were tear stained. "Look. I'm sorry for leaving you at the bus stop, and not sitting with You. It's not how I planned to start out. And I'm really Sorry. Can you please Forgive Me?" She said, looking so desperate. "Yeah! Of Course!" I say smiling. I give her hug. "So do you want to go grab some ice cream?" She says. "On me?" She adds, after a pause. "Sure. Then we can go to the beach." I say, smiling. "Yep!" She says. "I'll go get ready." I say shutting the door. I run up stairs and change into ( polyvore.com/beach/set?id=7400 4912. ) a bathing suit, and throw on a blue t-shirt, and Hollister shorts. I grab a pair of flip flops, grab a water bottle, grab my bag, and a towl. Once I grab all those I walk downsotairs, grab my iPhone 5, and walk out the door. As I shut the door, I remember the text Taryn sent Me. I flinch knowing that I Must reply. So I text her this.
   Sorry! I'm going to get ice cream with Alexa, then go to the beach. Maybe We'll see each other. I Hope Tomorrow is still a Go!
   I hit the send button, imaginging how mad she'll be. I plop down on the front porch, and wait for Alexa.

   Have you ever thought about how the weirdest things can change your life and perspective. How out of the blue and random it can be, how happy or upsetting it can be. Alone or with someone, the weirdest things can change your life,perspective, and even You yourself. Aspen Myers felt that, out of the blue,random, and weird feeling. A feeling that she could not hold herself back from expressing and couldn't change it. And that was at a concert. In the middle of a song, she just felt that push and change that she thought was impossible. It only took that concert to change her life, forever. That concert was held by One Direction. Which Aspen admitted to her best friend, Alexa Whitney, that she disliked One Direction. But of course, that changed. And so did One Direction.

   Chapter 3:
   I woke up to sound of birds chirping happily, and the sun shining more brightly than I even seen it. My flickered open. "What the hec?" i said in question. I didn't remember even getting here. I looked down and saw I was over 13 feet high. I don't remember hoe I got up here. All I remembered that Carter has no future. I sighed and made my way down. I didn't really want to go home, so I wandered through the woods like a brainless person. I was getting hungry so I popped out a poptart and munched on that. I heard my phone ring. It was entitled Mom, I didn't want to talk but I know if I didn't, it would freak her out. "Hello?" I said almost a bit to casualy. "Madison!Where on earth are you?" I sighed. "Far away from the world." I said. "Madison. Please come home." she said, I looked around. This didn't look familiar at all. "Um. I'll try.." I trailed off. "Bye." I said. "Madiso..Don't tell me your lost!" she said. "I am..Sorry!" I hung up and started racing the way I cam from. I saw the place I fell asleep. I felt relief. I now saw our house. Not to far away. I started walking but something caught my eye. A boy? Maybe a little older. He was glaring at me. I started running but he grabbed my shoulder and pulled me into where he was standing. "Who are you?" He asked firmly. I couldn't resist he would kill me if I didn't "Madison Anderson. I'm sixteen. And I live right over there." I gestured to my house. He softend up. "What are you doing?" He said. "Well.." I said a little nervous. I sat down on along and vented all that happened, He listened intently as If he enjoyed it. It passed an hour. "I'm sorry.." He said compassionate. "Uh. I gotta go." He said. I looked up at him but he was gone. He came that quick and he left that quick...I don't understand how that is even possible..

   I shot up out of my bed. It was only 6:45 a.m. in the morning, but I didn't care. I grabbed my clothes and flew into the shower. I jumped out and got dressed. I pounded on my Parents door. "Get up!" I yelled running into the kitchen. I grabbed myself some poptarts and grabbed my cellphone. My Mom quickly followed after me. We hopped into the car and drove to the hospital. I dashed in and asked if Carter Bolton was in. "No Ma'am. He might be up in therapy though." I thanked her and ran to therapy. I asked there and they said Rebecca Bolton was room 212. I nodded and made my way to room 212. As I walked in, Rebecca was sitting staring blankly at the wall. "Rebecca?" I said. I walked in looking around I did not see Carter. "Rebecca. Where is Carter?" I ask firmly. "He is in surgery. This is the last try Madison." She said holding my hand. My head fell, I looked at my feet. "Does he have a positive chance of living?" I asked. She shook her haed no. "Every time they take him out, It just gets worse." She gloomily. She turned her head toward me and was about to say something but a Doctor walked in. "Rebecca. It's Carter. His hea-" He paused and looked at me. "You must be Maddie he keeps talking about." He said. "Yeah." I said. "Well..Are you up to hearing some bad news?" He said. "Yes." I said unsure of why I even said that. "Carter's heart is failing. It's not pumping enough blood to keep him alive. He's dead...I'm sorry to say." My eyes blanked out, I let go of Rebecca's hand and cried. I ran out stumbling about. I ran out to the car and cried. Mom and I pulled out, and drove off to home. At night I was in my bed, trying not to cry. I couldn't stand it I packed my backpack and ran off into the woods. Far away, from the world...

   It was now 3:37 in the morning. Neither mom or I could keep our eyes open. I still kept my eyes open, just in case Carter came out. My mom gently put her hand on my shoulder. "Maddie..It's getting real late Dad is gonna worry about us." I shook my head. "I can't.I won't. I`m staying here." I said biting my lip. My mom gave me concerning look. "Honey. We need to go now. When you wake up tomorrow, we'll leave as quickly as we can." She said as she stood up holding out her hand to me. "If I even go to sleep." I said. I turned a glance back. "Carter!" I gasped. My mom and I walked over to the door. Cartes mom, Rebecca was crying shaking her head with misery. My eyes shot open wide. "Mom?" I asked whispering. "Is he..gone?" I said swallowing hard. "I don't know, Maddie. I don't know." Rebecca saw us. "Give us a call." My mom said quickly. Rebecca nodded and put her head in her hands. I walked with Mom to the car. "If Carter isn't gone. Why is she crying?" I asked. My mom touched my shoulder. "Carter may not be dead. But he has a tumor Maddie..." She said looking off into the busy street. "I'd be crying if it happend to you..Or Jason." She said as she got into the car and started it up. I tucked my hair behind my air. We drove off home. When we got there, Dad was standing in the Garage talking on his phone. His eyes lit up as he saw our car pull in. He ran down to the car with tears in his eyes. "I almost was about to send out a search party for you!" He said opening my door. I held my Dad tight. Finally he said "Is there anything wrong?" He asking stroking my hair. "Carter has a tumor." I said with a crackling voice. "I'm so sorry Madison." He said. I got ready for bed and got in bed. Hoping to get some good results tomorrow. I fell fast asleep into dreams of nothingness.

    The tears ecscaped my eyes. Leaving my makeup stinging in my eyes. I held my legs tight.
    I shut my eyes, silently praying everything was all right...Carter was in the hosipital, encountering a surgery for his tumor. It all happened exactly at 12:01 a.m. I was sitting drinking my Cocoa, by the toasty fire. Waiting for Carter to come. I sighed as my cellphone rang. I furrowed my eyesbrows as I picked up the phone. It was Carters mom. She never called me. I answered it a little nervous. "Hello?" I asked. Her voice was trembling and crackly. "It's Carter, Maddie." I stared at the fire crackling. I felt tears burning. "What do you mean, It's Carter? I asked. "He's in a tumor...He asked for his last breath...To see you Tiffany." My lips trembled. "Okay. I'll be there.." I said. I hit the end button. All tears flew out. I ran to My Mom. Telling her what happened, we ran to the car. Going over the speed limit. I ran inside rushing into his room, he had a soft smile. I stood by him holding his hand I slowly sat down. "One more kiss?" He said with tears in his eyes. "One more." I said. Before my lips could touch his, I was told to leave. As they were going to do the surgery...I never got one last kiss in. I sat out in the lobby. Tears streaming down my face.
