He Did Care,
just not as much & not as long as she did. he loved with h a l f of his
heart & she loved with all of hers. that's why he's perfectly fine while she
struggles to even breathe

There's A Huge
difference between not liking someone anymore & giving up on him.
when you don't like someone anymore, he isn't on your mind all the time. if he
ever is, you're not longing to hold his hand & you're not imagining your
wedding with him in your head like you used to. you don't have to use all
your strength to not answer his texts since you either ignore the messages
with ease because you don't care about him any longer, or you answer
because you're perfectly fine with being just friends. you might occasionally
think back to everything you used to have, but you don't crave to have it all
back & you don't feel pain in the bottom of your stomach like you used to.
when you let go of him, you still love him with all your heart, but you know he's
not worth it. you know he doesn't care about you anymore. you know that if
you hold on a second longer, you'll only get more broken than you already are.

I miss him. I miss our long talks. I miss his arms around me. I miss hanging out all the time. I miss laughing over nothing with him. I miss knowing him so well I could look at him, and know exactly what he was thinking. I miss him calling me his bestfriend. I miss him always being here for me. I've changed so much lately.
Every single day I wake up, and I’m different. I feel like I'm fading with every step. All

All. About. Him. You think about his smile, his laugh, his eyes.
Everything. All the memories you had together. You think about
his hand holding yours. How your fingers and his were a
perfect match when they interlocked. You even remember the
sound of his voice. Then, you think about the future.
What would have happened? But you come back to reality.
You remember that this is true, he is gone. A warn feeling
goes through out your whole body. Your stomach turns and you get
this feeling in your chest.
