Chapter 3
The night before.. :O
(This is some intense info.. It's legit.)

Liam's POV
I carefully surveyed her body as she quietly fell into a deep sleep. She's always been a deep sleeper. My emotions began to turn sour because I could feel that I had to pee and I didn't want to wake her. Like now. So I slowly and very very carefully slipped from behind her and placed one foot on the cold hardwood floor behind the couch. Then quickly snatched the other, praying she wouldn't move. She didn't. When I turned around to go to the bathroom I saw my parents standing there, just watching me. I crept over to them and flipped on the lamp closest to where we were standing. "Yes?" I questioned in a demanding, but still hushed tone. "Maybe we should discuss this outside?" My father offered. "Discuss what?" What the hellicopter was going on? "Just come on." I could almost feel the urine running down my leg. "I'll meet you there." Before he could argue, I speedy tip-toed to the bathroom. When I was done and had washed my hands, I trotted down the hallway pondering what this was all about. Before I walked onto the deck out back, I switched the light off and slipped into Nikki's soft, lime green slippers that my mom had bought her a few weeks back; because she always complains about how the floor is so cold, then steals another pair of my socks. I don't mind, though. I think it's unbearably cute when she wears my clothes, which is all the time. Wait, what am I saying? I don't like Nikki that way. I don't like Nikki that way. I can't like Nikki that way. Nikki's my best friend-THAT'S IT. No. But I do like her that way. I have for years. No I haven't. Stop it, Liam. Stop it. I tried to clear my mind as I slipped into the freezing air, letting a few shivers slip from my body. "Yeah?" I sat down on the wood chair from the patio set we've had for as long as I can remember. This is the chair that I always sit in. Dad was in Nikole's seat. I couldn't help but think this was all about her. "What?" I repeated myself, annoyed from the cold. "I don't know how to ask this, so I'm just going to come out and say it. What's going on between you and Nikole?" Really, Dad? Really? "Besides the fact that she's my best friend and the only person beside my sister that I can tell everything to?" Ruth and I are really close. Nicola and I never really bonded that well. We just weren't compatable. But before Ruth went off to college to make something of herself, Nikki, her, amd I were almost inseperable. "Liam, we know how you feel about Nikole." My mother burst out, pulling me from my precious memories. "Do you now?" I was being cocky, because I didn't want to be having this conversation right now. "Liam James!" My Dad snapped. I sighed and threw my hands on my forehead. "Why is it such a big deal, anyways?" Before they could answer my rhetorical question, I continued, "Yes, I love her. Why? Because she's my best friend. Because she's the only person I can trust besides Ruth. Because she's got that one thing. Because she's always been there for me. Because she's my diary. Because... Because I do. Now will you leave me alone? Please?" I went back inside and quietly slammed the glass door. Then I walked back to the couch and took my spot back behind Nikk. I was Piston Cupped at them. Why did they have to do that?
