    hauntingly beautiful
    Chapter 25
    Hayden's Point of View
When I arrived at school the next morning, all eyes landed on me.
I shuddered, obviously not liking all of the individual attention I was recieving.
"Do you think it's true?" I heard a girl ask.
    "That's her!" one boy pointed.
I swallowed, as I kept my head down.
I approached my locker, twisting the lock combination until it clicked open.
The next thing I knew, a hundred copies of papers came flying out of my locker, all landing in a messy pile around my feet.
"Is it true that your dad is a psycho?" Maddi snarled from me behind, holding an article.
My heart sank, as my eyes widened.
My hands trembled, as I bent down to retrieve a copy.
My eyes scanned over the familiar words, as tears welled up in my eyes.
I glared at Maddi, as she smirked at me.
"If you aren't going to answer, I'm going to assume these articles are true." she said in a sugar coated voice, eyes sparkling with a glint of evilness.
I clenched my fists my my sides, unable to speak.
How is it possible for a human to be so evil?
"Hey, what's up with the crowd?" a voice suddenly asked.
My head whipped over to the side, as Hunter entered the scene.
He was smiling happily, but his grin dropped once he saw Maddi and I in the center.
He frowned, as his eyes trailed down to the piles of papers on the floor.
"What's going on?" he asked with confusion.
Maddi strutted her way over to Hunter, as her hips moved from side to side.
Her arms suddenly wrapped around his biceps, as she rested her head on his shoulder.
"Read for yourself, babe." she said innocently.
I watched as her manicured fingers waved the article in Hunter's face.
Hunter looked hesitant, as he stared at me.
I cursed under my breath once Hunter got a hold of the papers.
His eyes ran over the paper.
I sucked in a deep breath, unable to read his expression.
Once he stared back up at me, his face paled.
Hunter probably thought I was insane now.
Insane, just like my father was.
He probably wanted to stop hanging around me now, it would ruin his reputation... even more.
"She's crazy, babe, I'm telling you." Maddi warned, staring at me like an unknown creature.
I tore my gaze from Hunter, as I stared at the ground.
My legs suddenly picked up, as I began to run.
I pushed through the thick crowd, not caring if I hurt someone.
I sprinted down the hallways, escaping the evil school.
I ran and ran, until I was breathless.
I finally came to a stop where I bent over, pressing my palms agaisnt my knee caps.
My breathing was fast and heavy, as I saw my breath come out from my mouth.
When my heart rate slowed down, I took the time to look at my surroundings.
My hands shook as I realized that I was at the bad side of the town.
There was garbage scattered across the street, and drug dealers walking around.
I've heard stories about murders from this side of town.
The people here did things worse than my father could ever do.
There was once a story about a woman, who was held hostage for months.
She was promised by her kidnapper that she would be released, but she never was.
She was found dead, and completely burnt on the roof of a run down apartment building.
There was also another story where-
"Be quiet little girl. you're coming with us." someone suddenly hissed in my ears.

    Catch Me if You Can
    Chapter 3
The next morning, I woke up with my pale blue blankets on the floor.
I sniffed, as the strong aroma of bacon and pancake mix filled my nose.
My stomach began to rumble, as I licked my lips, eager for something to eat.
I quickly took a cold shower, and brushed my teeth.
I threw on a floral off shoulder top, and a pair of white shorts.
I ran down the stairs, just to see my father placing a big stack of pancakes on the diner table.
"Good morning, dad." I polietly said, sliding in a wooden seat.
My dad chuckled, as he smiled. "Good morning, Colby. Eat up, I remember my chocolate chip pancakes were your favorite."
I drizzled my pancakes in thick syrup, as I took a big bite, letting the flavor soak in my mouth.
I hadn't eaten my dad's pancakes in years, not after him and my mother got a divorce.
    "These are great." I complimented.
My dad smiled, as his eyes twinkled with happiness.
"I'm glad you're back with me, Colby. I've missed you throughout these years."
I took in a deep breath, "I missed you, too."
I finished my breakfast, as I offered to wash the dishes.
"Colby, are you doing anything today?" my father called out from the living room.
"Actually, I am. I made a friend last night." I replied, drying off the platter.
"Really? That was fast. When are you going out?" he asked.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang, as I flinched from surprise.
"I guess now." I grinned secretly, jogging up to the door.
I took in a deep breath before opening the door to see Harry.
I swung the door wide open, as Harry stood on my front steps, grinning.
"Hey, Colby. Ready to go?" Harry asked.
I looked over my shoulder, and waved bye to my dad.
"I'm going out now, dad. Bye!" I smiled, sprinting out the doorway.
Harry laughed at me, as I nearly tripped over a step, but balanced myself out.
I blushed with embarassment, and slapped his shoulder.
"It's not funny." I grumbled, fixing my top. "We are meeting with your friend's today, right?"
Harry nodded, as he bit down on his lower lip.
"Yeah... we're going to see them at the beach."
There Harry goes again with his sudden hesitation.
    What was up with him?
We paced to the beach in silence, which I wasn't too fond of.
Harry's eyes shifted towards a group of people, who were laughing loudly.
"There they are." he muttered under his breath, grabbing my wrists.
He pulled me towards the group, as they all smiled and greeted Harry.
"Well, whose this beautiful girl?" a guy asked, shaking his blonde hair away from his eyes.
I flustered, still not used to getting hit on, even if I was 16.
Harry gripped his hands around my wrists tightly.
"This is Colby. I met her yesterday, and she's off limits." Harry said, trying not to sound too protective.
"Alright, man. Whatever you say." the guy smirked, raising his hands up in surrender.
I saw Harry's eyes frantically searching the group, as if he was looking for someone.
Harry let go of my wrists, as he leaned over in a tall, red headed girl's ear, and whispered.
The red head turned to face him, and said lowly, but still audible, "She's not here yet."

    Catch Me if You Can
    Chapter 2
Harry and I stood on the edge of the boardwalk, as the fireworks went off above us.
I was licking on my vanilla and chocolate ice cream cone, as the fireworks exploded into various colors.
I was slightly bitter about the fact that my new white sundress was covered with sand, since Harry had tackled me down on the beach earlier today, but the fireworks made up for it.
I barely got to have this much fun back in Maine, since my mother was always so strict.
I was starting to like the fact that I was in California with my dad... and Harry.
Suddenly, a loud explosion went off above us, as my head snapped up.
Written in the night sky was, "Kathryn, will you marry me?"
Immediately, a crown surrounding the boardwalk oohed, as a loud scream came off from an excited girl.
"Would you want someone to do that to you?" Harry asked beside me.
I licked the chocolate that was dripping from my cone, as I nodded.
"I guess so, it would be romantic." I smiled.
"Ah, I see. You're the chick flick type, aren't you?" Harry teased.
I chuckled, before turning a light shade of pink.
"No, of course not!" I stammered. "It's just a sweet thing to do for someone."
Harry stared at me with an amused grin.
"It's almost midnight, I should get you home, right?" he asked.
I shook my head. "No, it's okay. I took up enough of your time already. I can walk back alone."
Harry grinned with his blue-green eyes twinkling, even in the dark.
"No, it's not poite to leave a girl alone at midnight. I'll walk you." he insisted.
Not wanting to argue with him any further, I agreed.
I tossed my ice cream off into the nearest trash bucket, as we began walking off the boardwalk.
"So, do you want to tell me why you were so grumpy earlier today?" Harry asked.
I kicked a pebble with my black flip flop as we walked.
"I'm just bitter about moving here." I admitted.
Harry frowned. "Oh, you're new here? I should've known. I've never seen you around before."
I nodded. "Yeah, I just moved here a week ago, from Maine."
Harry seemed shocked. "Really? That's on the other side of the country!"
    I laughed nervously. "I know."
Harry gave me a sorrowful look. "Don't worry, you'll love it here."
I looked up at the brunette, and raised an eyebrow. "How are you so sure?"
"You have me here, duh." he tilted his head.
I laughed, and slapped his shoulder. "You are so egoistic."
    Harry briefly laughed.
I finally walked up the front steps of my house, that was surrounded by a white porch.
We stood near the door, as Harry and I turned to face each other.
"I'll see you tomorrow, right?" he asked hopefully.
I bit down on my lip, trying not to smile. "Sure."
Harry's face lit up, as he grinned boyishly.
"Awesome! I'll come meet you out here." he smiled. "W-with some of my friends..." he finished, seeming a bit off.
I frowned, before ignoring his sudden change of mood.
"Alright, sounds like a plan." I smiled.
I unlocked my front door, as I waved goodbye to Harry.

For the Love of a Daughter
    Chapter Fourteen.
    Samme's P.O.V.
I looked around Justin's room while he talked to Scooter. I layed my head down on his pillow and smiling I closed my eyes and drifted into sleep.
When I woke up Justin's arms were wrapped around me. I smiled and waited for him to wake up and eventually he did. He smiled, "What time is it?" I looked at my phone, but it wouldn't turn on. "Dammit!" I yelled a little loud. "What?" He asked. "My phone's broke." I told him. "We can get you a new one." Justin told me. "No. It's fine." I said. He shook his head. "I'm getting you a new one." He looked at his phone. "It's four thirty. ANd by they way. You looked adorable sleeping." He kissed my cheek. I blushed a little bit. He got out of bed, took off his tanktop, and put sweatpants on over his boxers. I looked at him. Damn, does he have a nice body. He looked at me and I quickly smiled. "Enjoying the view?" He smirked. I picked up a pillow and threw it at him. He smiled and tackled me on the bed. I laughed and screamed.
Eventually he was on top of me, and I looked into his gorgeous eyes. And kissed him. The kiss wasn't what I expected at all. Actually I don't even think it was a kiss. It went more into a makeout session. "Samme, Justin, Dinner!" His mom yelled. We let go and just looked at each other, smiling. "We're coming!" Justin yelled back down. I've had a couple a boyfriends, and all they watnted to do was get in your pants and change everything about you, or hookup with you and then leave you. But with Justin, it was different. A good different. I know that there's nothing he would do to hurt me, and I love that about him. I love... him. Did I just think that?

For the Love of a Daughter
    Chapter Ten.
    Ryan's P.O.V.
Samme looked at me, speechless of what to say. SHe probably felt guilty, good. "I don't understand how you didn't see how much I loved you." I went on. She just looked at me, "Ryan,I'm sorry. It's just I never thought of you that way. You're my best friend. ANd of course I love you. Just not in that way." She tried to explain to me. "There's only one kind of love Sam." She shook her head, "No, there's multiple. There's family love, boyfriend and girlfriend love, husband and wife love, and what I feel to you." She siad. "which is?" "A best friend love." Her beautiful blue eyes looked into my brown eyes. I couldn't helo myself, I leaned in. Our lips met, but not for long she quickly backed away. "What are you doing?" She yelled. "I don't know. I couldn't help myself." I said calmly. Even with that little kiss, I felt those sparks go up and down my spine. "Ryan, look. I'm sorry that we can't have the boyfriend girlfriend relationship you want. I really am. But I'm with Justin and-" I cut her off again with another kiss. She pushed and grabbing her purse ran out the door.
    Samme's P.O.V.
I ran down to Justin's hotel room and knocked on his door. He finally answered. when he saw me crying he got really worried. "Did your mom hurt you again?" He said pulling me into the house and onto his lap. I shook my head, "Justin. Ryan- Ryan kissed me." The words blurted out.

    Don't You Worry.
    Chapter 18
    Justin's P.O.V.
Me and Bree left Scooter's hotel room smiling, everything was back to normal. Well not fully, but mostly. So I'll deal. I pulled up to the driveway and gave Bree a kiss as she got out. I had to go to a photoshoot for Ontario Weekly magazine.
I drove about a half hour until I pulled up to the fan filled parking lot. I smiled as I saw my Beliebers all lined up, smiling, and screaming waiting for me to get out of the car. So I did, I hopped out and ran down the line of fans high - fiving them. I starting signing autographs, "Do you love me back?" A fan asked. I looked up she was about 15, I smiled, "I love you more." She smiled at me as I signed her 'Under the Mistletoe' CD. I went down the line and signed more autographs. "I camped out here over night so I can meet you." Another fan said. This one was younger maybe 12. "Thank you so much for doing that." I signed her poster and then walked inside.
"Bieber!" The camera man yelled. I smiled, "Yo!" "Ready to get going?" He asked. "Let's do it." He pointed me to the 'X' mark where I had to stand so I did and started posing for pictures. We took three hours worth of pictures before I got to go home. I left the building, signed some more auotographs, took some pictures. Exhausted I hopped into my car and drove home. I couldn't wait to see my bride- to- be. I smiled to myself just thinking about her.
When I walked in Ali and Bree were playing with Barbie dolls. Bree out her doll down and gave me a kissed when she saw me, Ali gave me a huge hug. "Tired?" Bree asked. "Exhausted." I sighed. "Go to bed, I'll be up in a minute." She said. I smiled and then went upstairs into my room. About ten minutes later she climbed into bed next to me and when we fell asleep holdling each other.

    Chapter 31
    http://www.polyvore.com/kendall/set?id=39872837
"So, is this considered our first date?" I asked, sticking a French fry in my mouth.
Jesse rolled his eyes, and took a long sip of his vanilla and chocolate blended milkshake.
"No, Kendall. I told you, I need time to think about it."
I smirked, dipping my French fries in a pool of ketchup.
"It sounds like you're going to break up with me, or something."
Jesse shot me a glare. "Well, what I meant was I need time to think about what to do for our date. I mean, I don't want to do something cliche, or something lame."
I sighed dramatically, swallowing a mouthful of greasy fries.
"Can't we just go to a movie or something?" I asked.
"That's the lame part." Jesse said.
I narrowed my eyes at him. "What about something like... a picnic on a rooftop?! That sounds so-!"
    "Cliche." Jesse finished.
I glared at the dark haired brunette. "I was going to say romantic."
Jesse grunted, swirling the straw in his milkshake.
"I just want our first date to be perfect. I don't want it to be like how it was with other girls, simple movie and dinner. I want to do something... unique."
I mentally groaned when he said 'other girls'.
I still couldn't believe that I was pretty much going out, for real, with someone like Jesse.
After all, he was known as the notorious playboy of our school.
And I used to hate people like him- arrogant and what not.
But, look at where I was now.
In love, and talking about suggestions for dates with him.
"What's wrong? Why do you have that face?" Jesse asked, concerned.
I frowned, shaking my head. "What face?"
    Jesse grinned, tapping my nose.
"That innocent, cute, pouty face." he smirked.
I flustered, slapping his hand away from my nose.
"Ha ha, hilarious." I sarcastically remarked, playfully glaring at him.
After we finished eating, Jesse drove the both of us in his new Lamborghini convertiable.
We stopped at the driveway of his mansion, as we headed towards his large backyard.
He guided us through the fence, as I could see a crystal clear pool and a large basketball court.
"Do you want to play basketball?" Jesse asked, stripping off his black hoodie.
I shuddered, shaking my head. "Are you crazy? It's barely fourty degrees right now."
Jesse shrugged, as his white t-shirt clung on his body, showing off his perfectly sculpted stomach.
"Come, I'll make you warm if you get cold." he winked.
I scrunched my nose in disgust.
"No, I'm fine. Besides, I don't know how to play."
Jesse raised an eyebrow at me.
"Pretty please? I'll teach you. Come on." he pleaded.
    I sighed, giving up.
I approached the center of the basketball court, where he stood.
"Okay, what now?" I asked, crossing my arms stubbornly.
"Let me see the way you shoot the ball. Come here." Jesse guided, pulling me gently towards the free throw line.
He handed me the amber, orange ball, as it landed firmly in my palms.
I took in a deep breath.
I jumped up in midair, releasing the ball from my hands.
It hit the back of the board, and sprang into the hoop.
"See? You do know how to play." Jesse pointed out.
I glared at him. "I got lucky."
Jesse grinned, as he wrapped his warm arms around my waist, pulling me in closer.
"Don't worry, I can teach you how to play." he breathed.
