I have had enough.
Homophobia is disgusting. It is tearing our nation apart little by little. The gay community is suffering from all of the disrespect and discrimination being shoved in their faces. These people, these beautiful, misunderstood people, are being beat up and killed by your words of hate and anger and negativity. There are others who simply sit back and watch as it all happens. There are commercial companies, celebrities, and ordinary people who are stepping up to help end this war. As Stefani Germanotta, better known as pop icon Lady Gaga, said at the Gay Rights Rally in Washington D.C., "It isn't equal if it is sometimes." There are millions of people, not just in the United States but worldwide, who believe that this world is equal, that the world is at peace. We have war, but not just in Afghanistan. For many American famlies, war is in their very house. Some parents don't know how to take care of their gay son or their lesbian daughter. Some kids are even getting kicked out completely, leaving them with nowhere to turn but to drugs and alcohol. This country is not equal. It is an ever increasing problem and in the past 2 years I have seen it grow and grow and grow and I have reached the boiling point. Obama, you said there would be change; now where the hell is it? This issue should be a priority to you and your administration. You are the president of this nation, you should start thinking about everybody in it; not just the ones with "normal views." They are wanted in this world. If God made them, then why should they not be loved? They are like every other person in this world, so let them be appreciated and accepted and not be made into outcasts and freaks. Bless God and
God bless the gays.
