is for you to come randomly pick me up in your truck. drive out on an empty dirt road. park and get out, and turn on my favorite country song and dance with me. kiss me for the first time. bring blankets in the bed of your truck, and then cuddle with me and watch the stars.

today,
I was having a really rough day. I'm a dancer, and I was in ballet and it seemed like I couldn't do anything right. My balance was off, my turns looked awful, and I couldn't seem to remember a single combination. I started to think maybe it's because I'm just not built to dance. I looked around at all the skinny, tall, beautiful girls doing the steps perfectly, and I hated my huge legs and stomach. I finished doing turns across the floor, and my friend Brianne said "Abby! You're so little! Do you even have to watch what you eat? You're so lucky." Just a couple minutes later, my friend Aubrey said "Sorry if this sounds weird, but I think you have the perfect body! I'm so jealous."
They have no idea what a confidence boost they gave me.
I still don't fully believe them, but I felt so happy.
Compliment people every chance you can. You never know what their insecurities are, or how much you might make their day. :)

crying.
it is not something to make fun of, or to tease someone about.
it is not something to be taken lightly.
if you have ever cried, and I mean really cried,
you know how much raw emotion is poured out.
you do not tell someone who is crying to just
"suck it up".
"get over it".
it doesn't work that way.
just let them cry.
let them get it out.
if a person can't even express their hurt without being teased,
how do you expect them to ever be okay?
you NEVER know what someone is going through.
