I want a Noah.
I want someone to write me a ton of letters to tell me they love me.

I want someone who will remember what they promised me.. And keep their promise.

I want someone to fight for me even if I'm with someone else, because they know I'm not happy.

The Little Things
~Prologue~
"I'm home!" I shout when I enter the door. Five gorgeous guys run down the stairs and surround me in tight hugs and shouts. They help me carry my luggage up the stairs and set it in the living room. "Hey Mom," I hug my mom tightly. "And Momma Two," I laugh, hugging Mrs. Payne. "Speaking of, where's my super famous big brother?" I laugh, feeling him hug me from behind. "Hey Val," He laughs, "Hey there Liam." I smile. So here's the deal, Liam and I have been best friends since we could talk, and probably before that. Since my mom and his mom are best friends, we grew up together. But, in the past two years, his band One Direction has become super huge and I've been away at a boarding school my junior and senior years of highschool. However, the bandmates have become family, and Liam and I have remained as close as ever.
"How was your trip?" Mrs Payne asks. "Oh, you know, as fun as a long plane trip can be," I laugh. My mom rolls her eyes. "Stop complaining, you love your school," I hug her again. "I know, I just miss being home," I smile.
"Well, why don't you put your stuff in your room, so we can eat then hang out for a little bit before everyone has to go back home," Mom suggests. I smile and Liam offers to help carry my stuff upstairs. When we're alone in my room I notice that he seems different. Too sad, too not like Liam. then I remember.. Him and Danielle recently broke up. I know we'll talk about it later, but now's not the time.
"What's for dinner?" I ask him, while unpacking some clothes. "Homemade pizza.. But me and the guys made it..So it may not be too good," He laughs. I laugh too and when we're almost done unpacking, head downstairs to eat.
The pizza actually is amazing, and the guys keep the table laughing loudly all night. When we're done, the guys and I go into the basement while Mom and Momma Payne drink their wine.
"How's stuff been for you guys?" I ask them while we watch Tv. "Busy," Niall answers, with too much food in his mouth. Harry and Louis are laughing by themselves about a joke I assume no one else heard. Zayn is texting madly, probably Perrie. And then there's Liam, looking too depressed to speak.
Somethings changed and I know it. Everything seemed normal by the way the guys greeted me at the stairs but now.. no one's speaking to me the way they used to, everyone's wrapped up in their own drama.
And something about Liam.. more than just his saddness, something about the way he looks at me now.
And maybe.. something about the way I look at him.

~Chapter 1~
"I'm going to bed, love you!" I shout downstairs to Mom. I wait for a response before finally heading into my bathroom to brush my teeth. While I lie down, trying to fall asleep I text Liam.
Me: Hey, coffee tmrw @ 10?
Liam Is My BestFriend: Not sure if 10 wrks, maybe dinner?
I roll my eyes. Since when does Liam no have time to hang out with me? I respond with a quick yes anyway, agreeing to meet him at his house at five. I finally fall asleep after stressing over the guys acted different for hours.
When I wake up the next morning, I quickly take a shower and run down the stairs. "Morning," I say while grabbing an apple out of the bowl on the table. Mom just waves, not looking away from the Tv. "Whatcha watching?" I ask, sitting next to her, biting into my apple. "One Direction's interview, these boys are too much," She laughs to herself. I stare at her, finding it a little weird that she's watching. A question comes up about girlfriends, only Zayn and Louis answer. I stare at Liam's face. "He looks sad, doesn't he?" I whisper. Mom shrugs as if she doesn't notice. I roll my eyes, tired of everyone brushing it off.
I decide to go get coffee by myself. Oddly enough, Harry is in line right before me. "Oh, not too big to cut lines yet, I see," I joke and he turns around, laughing. "How'd I know it was you, Valarie," He pokes me in the stomach. Only Liam calls me Val. "Be a doll and buy me a coffee?" I wink, he nods, thinking nothing of it. "So, how's school been?" He asks as we wait. "How fun could school be, Harry?" I chuckle. "And being a super famous teen heartthrob?" I ask him, bumping him with my hip. "What can I say," He shrugs. This is the Harry I know, not the one from last night.
We pick a table and sit down, chit chatting. "Hey, how's Brian?" Harry winks. I blush. "You still loooove him?" He sings the word love. I smack his arm. "I dunno," I admit. "It feels kinda different," I mumble. Harry just shrugs. "Hey, how's Liam holding up?" I ask, hoping he's okay. "Uhm.." Harry seems at loss for words, his eyes flash to the door, where a man with a camera has just come in. A worried look comes over his face. "Look I gotta go, I'll text you later," He mumbles before rushing out the back exit.
Odd. Very, very odd.
I walk to Liam's, since Mom's out using our car. By the time I get there, I'm soaked and my hands are numb. Liam rushes outside, "Hurry up, don't wanna get sick!" He urges, rushing me inside. When I get inside, heavenly smells fill the air. We sit down and start eating right away, I've never tasted such good food. When we finish, we decide it's a good time to talk. For awhile, we talk about school and tours and fans and friends. Then he asks about Brian. I give him the same answer I give Harry and he frowns. "He loves you," He shrugs. I smile, "How about you? Are you okay?" I whisper. Suddenly, his phone starts to vibrate, he looks at it secretively, "I've got to take this," He says, running into a different room.
I throw my napkin on the table, ready to just walk home.

I have Cancer
My name is Savannah. Im 16 and I have bone cancer. I was diagnosed 6 months ago, and have been in treatment for 4 months. Im becoming weak, and losing my hair.
